Does this method of extracting the images from a .dmme file still work? Because I have tried several times and I can't.
Someone could help me?

For some reason I can't get the images using the DLSiteViewerDumper. My images are all blury and broken, i'm using these versions:

- DLSiteViewerDumper V 1.2.0.0
- DLSiteViewer V 1.0.34 (1.0.4.2)

Do you have any advice? I bought the doujin, but I would like to rip it to share it

Does anyone here still have dmmreadersetup X86 ver.3.1.7.0 or 3.1.9.0?
I found a dmmdecrypter on this chinese forum, it needs these to open .dmmb/.dmme file, but dmm has updated.
The topic starter also talk something about dlsite, but I can't even understand a word because I know nothing about programming (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

It still work with DLsiteViewer 1.1.6(1.1.4.0), the newest version in 2021.06.13
It's programmed with python but I can't find its source code. A zero star version without release page is found in [github.com] https://github.com/llc1123/dlsite-key-dumper/

Just put it in the directory where DLsiteViewer.exe been placed, then open .dlst as usual.
The viewer will auto scroll from start to end then make a message-box which prompts you can close viewer.
Finally all the ORIGINAL images will been extracted beside the .dlst.

It can adapt to multiple versions even later versions, just make a try whatever you have.
No source code, but it is easy to review and dig into how it works if you know reverse engineering.

I was a bit concerned if I have to repeat bothering genl every time I come with a different dlst file to tweak,

So for what it's worth, I tried doing this last year on DMM Reader and succeeded. The rest of the series I bought is out and now whenever I do this I get an error message:
"Failed to start capture protection. Service program "Cypherguard cguard service" is not started. [Errorcode:DMMBOOK165-9001-550]"

I suppose I'll try reinstalling the version of Reader a little later.

Yeah I'd prefer to be independently able to do this stuff as well. I understand. But it seems like they're fine with this.

Good luck with that. Having such an application on public may have them rework their DRM even more.

I can help each one privately with beating these protections and getting 100% virgin files, for most known image/video (a bit of exe too) protections on all portals - dlst, dmmb, krm, PB, cpd etc. Details in these threads:

tl;dr: the major downside in my case is that user must share the login information with me, for accessing his protected file.

I'm also here just in case you couldn't find me. Very rarely used this so don't mind me.

If you use Windows, you can download a pre-compiled hlsdl from [rwijnsma.home.xs4all.nl] https://rwijnsma.home.xs4all.nl/files/hlsdl/ (source: [github.com] https://github.com/selsta/hlsdl/issues/82), open the command prompt by pressing Win+R and entering "cmd", change directory to where you download hlsdl with "cd \path\to\hlsdl", and run it with the playlist you want to download as the argument, like hlsdl.exe [foo.m3u8] https://foo.m3u8. You find the url of a movie's playlist by opening Chrome's dev tools with F12 and selecting the Network tab while playing it, filtering "m3u8", and copying the url of the last playlist.m3u8 in the case of R18/DMM. Select the highest quality available if it's not selected automatically.

Actually it seems that regular yt-dlp / youtube-dl can now download R18.com and DMM streams, before it didn't and you had to use hlsdl (see [github.com] https://github.com/ytdl-org/youtube-dl/issues/17597). yt-dlp is better because it can resume downloads, and it creates .mp4 files instead of .ts with which seeking works worse, and of course it can also be used for sites like youtube. You can download yt-dlp from [github.com] https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp/releases and use it with yt-dlp.exe https://....m3u8.

While you can download from R18.com without cookies, for DMM you have to export them with something like [chrome.google.com] https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/g...eckgcbcid?hl=en and use yt-dlp.exe --cookies \path\to\cookies.txt https://....m3u8.
