I am not a long time member here but i think some people should apologize. Tenboro has been working a lot on the site this past few weeks yet he still took the time to make a patch. He deserves a lot of thanks and not sarcasm or spoilt child demands.

No one demanded anything, only voiced small disappointment. I already said thanks for the majority of this patch, but people only seem to focus on the (minor) criticisms and blow them out of proportion; a list of things people have been waiting for for a long time (patently.) If no one ever posted reminders, things will be forgotten, as already stated. There have been plenty of things in the past that would never have been done without reminders.


And for the record I've probably long since accomplished "x25" in the years I've been here. A few times were even justified.

I only ever used aether shards for the mana discount. Considering that Heartseeker and Arcane Focus cannot be active at the same time, it would seem like even melee people would mainly have Heartseeker running and would not often be casting AoE spells, needing magic accuracy solely for deprecating spells. Even then, they would care more about the mana reduction than the macc bonus.

If I were to ever switch to melee for some odd reason then cracking 100% would follow pretty quickly. Again, the acc bonus from the void shard or heartseeker is not exactly crucial.

Thanks for trying to make Focus even cooler. Now maybe shorten its action time a little bit more? So as to make it actually useful for combat.

The loss of accuracy from Heartseeker and Arcane Focus is regrettable, yet at the same time not crucial. Though to be fair a 25% hit chance out of 100% is much bigger than 25% on top of 170% you already have, so this sucks a little for the newbies.

I have mixed feelings about anti-parry from Overwhelming Strike. On the one hand, yay anti-parry. On the other hand, is it remotely relevant? The number of situations where 1H+S + anti-parry is useful cannot be counted, because it does not exist.

I like the bump to chaos token drop rates, and also the token perk. Now maybe people won't complain too much about 3 days per FSM (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

All in all a nice patch, and hopefully will let me have a nicer time in HV.

x25 is not a free trip to the moon. You have to pay for the rocket, and if you can't afford it, you have to walk.
