I spent the last hour (and another 40 minutes by the time I post this (IMG:[

style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) ) rereading my browser history for the past 1 day to find a gallery that contain these 3 comments
1. a removed comment
2. reply to it describing it as “unsound legal advice”
3. another comment who ask why “unsound legal advice” gone. Then asking why delete comment other than commercial spam.
I can’t find it (IMG:[

style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) , neither can google or yahoo using term “legal advice” “sound legal advice” or “sound advice”, bing locked into safe search while duckduckgo syntax is broken. So I will type it here, please repost this into that gallery if in future you just happened to run into it
Here’s my reply: from beginning of civilization*** decision is always based on the good of many. Other than things that explicitly break forum rule (which not stopping people from debating in gallery anyway), there is no notion of right or wrong in comment. I like website with community based moderation like here, danbooru, reddit, stackexchange or pre 2013 youtube. From the numbers you can see if a comment is approved by majority. If a comment is downvoted to -50 (much less when it got removed) you won’t want to see that comment. Maybe this sound like authoritarian but system like this is actually pro majority.
Sure there are instances where things that was decided by majority in past will be changed to wrong in future (flat earth and witch hunt*) but when it happen the future will judge it.
*nazi went genocide on jew was majority in Germany but minority to world. Some comment or majority opinion in this site can still be viewed as minority compared to the rest of the world. We already minority to society trying to find hentai for our taste. But why should the rest of the world's opinion matter? It shouldn't. Don’t make it more difficult by acting contrarian to the gallery’s direction. Instead of showing you don’t like it**, find other place
** I'm saying this because users can't change the gallery content. The best option is to just stick to the one you like, otherwise move on. You change nothing to the gallery much less to people who enjoy it. This apply to anime and other internet hobbies as well
*** Now after rereading my post someone might point of that even majority in past were dictated by the few people in higher position. We don’t live in lawless world, I never said to ignore rule. Bottom line, if it doesn’t break your local rule, majority get to decide
