My cousin came by tonight and we had dinner. Everything was going great at first but she was telling me how her mom was acting weird with memory problems so she and my mom went over to her house to check on her and they ended up taking her to the E.R.

This is my same aunt who nearly died this past summer and we were taking care of her parrot. Well, she's back in the hospital right now and they're testing her to see if she's got encephalitis again. We're taking care of her cute little puppy right now. My cousin was supposed to leave on a trip to Las Vegas tomorrow, too, and then all this happened.

I made a little collar for my aunt's dog and put bells on it so I could hear where it is at all times. It always runs up behind me and gets underfoot and I'm always afraid I'm going to accidentally step on it and squash it. It's soooo cute, though.

And the parrot's back over here again, and my cousin went on her trip to Las Vegas after all. I hope she wins big.
