I went to my friend's work to pick up some stuff he got for me at the 99 cent store (he found a couple of Inuyasha DVDs there (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) ) and Walmart. Instead of me paying him, he wants me to do a sewing job for him on his nylon safety vest.

So in the Chevron mini-mart, I was taking measurements and his co-worker was standing there laughing at us. I was acting exceptionally fruity and I felt like a fashion designer. I haven't used the sewing machine in a long time but it'll be fun.

OK, the sewing job I did today was fun at first until around 4 p.m. when I started getting grouchy from being hungry and sweaty in the heat. I'd been sewing on this motherfucking safety vest since this morning and I just now finished (it's night). I had to deconstruct and then reconstruct and lengthen it with additional pieces of fabric and it was pretty time consuming.

Anyway, it looks cool now, like a fireman's vest with strips of thick reflective tape and orange mesh and neon green nylon fabric. It's faboo. Now when my friend cleans the gas pumps at his work and wears it, everyone will be dazzled by him.
