This morning I woke up and bought a slow-cooker then cooked some chicken with tomatoes and garlic in it. Ate it over spaghetti. First time I've cooked something more complicated than scrambled eggs from scratch for myself in years.
Took about 30 minutes of prep, about 30 minutes to scrub out the stoneware afterwards, and I have something for dinner for the next 3 days. Not a bad deal, overall, though it'll probably take a year of this to make the money I spent on the thing worthwhile.
