I'm sick with the flu so I didn't do anything today.

OK, here I go. . .

Today I went to the bank and then went to the corner store to get a money order cuz oh, girl, the Newport News catalog I got in the mail was having a sale and they had a free shipping promo so I just had to buy a few cute tops.

So anyway, as I was walking into the store, there was a group of zit-faced highschool boys hanging out and as I passed them, I could totally feel the older one's sex eyes all over me. Uh-huh. Totally. And then I thought, "Oh, no, keep on walking. That boy's mama would string you up by your nads if you went toe-tapping in the men's room with that shit." So I just went on my way and avoided a whole heap of trouble. Whew.

And then when I got home, I realized the Habeeb at the store shorted me a dollar! Asshole. I sometimes play the lottery and that coulda been my million dollar one dollar bill! Dammit.

Got back, got an earache from my mom yelling at me for taking off alone with a broken leg for three days and only telling what I'm doing with a message on her answering machine. After that I relaxed and enjoyed myself. Right now I'm babysitting my niece and nephew. They are watching an old videotape of Power Rangers the Movie that been in my parents movie cabinet for a long time. I'm keeping my niece and nephew downstairs where I can keep an eye on them.

Good day. Got into college, not for the course I wanted, but it's good enough. Also have an interview for a new job tomorrow (or later today). So it has been a pretty productive day.

Today I cleaned my fish's tank water and he's all happy. Then I made an appointment for the DMV to renew my driver's license. This is the first time in my life I've ever had to go in person to do it--I've always renewed by mail. And the office nearest to me is one of the busiest DMV's on the entire fucking planet so it's gonna totally suck.

So the first available appointment they had was March 14th at 9 AM!!! Oh, girl, I don't know if I can get up that early. Maybe I'll pull an all-nighter the night before and go in the next morning then come home and go to bed.

Classes, shopping, 'bout it so far.

Aw crap, I just read on my paper that I'm going to have to get a new picture taken for my driver's license!
