Shit, last night when I went to turn off my TV, the picture on it went weird and I thought the tube finally burnt out. Even when I shut it off, there was a faint rainbow pattern showing up in the center of the dark screen and I thought it was a gonner. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Anyway, to be safe, I unplugged it before I went to bed and then when I tried it again this morning, it came on plain as day. I've been having problems with my TV and I'll eventually need to buy a new one so I guess it's starting to act up when it gets overheated. That's the first sign that it's on its way out.
