Ew, I've had that happen before. The dumb nurse goes to take blood and they miss the vein and then they keep jabbing the needle in you and digging it around and. . ugh! I can't even talk about that. I can't stand doctors and nurses. They frighten me. A junkie off the street could take better blood samples than some of the nurses I've come across.

But today I went to Wal*Mart and bought a ton of stuff I needed. However, I forgot the one thing I needed most to fix that broken shift key on my keyboard: super glue! Dammit. But at least I remembered to buy new socks. Yeah, I left my list at home. But I can always go back and buy more stuff, no prob.

The thing I hate most about having blood taken is the invasive feeling of the needle - it's foreign and doesn't belong in my flesh, dammit!

But yeah, I played Manhunt 2 for the first time today. I was not impressed. *shrug*

Yup, especially if you starve it first. It's like:
Orphan: Please sir, may I have some more?
Me: Ha! No, but I will!

Then as the orphan cries, you eat it.

QUOTE(Shadow Weaver @ Jan 28 2008, 17:36) *

This nurse is actually good at it but my veins just don't like to give up blood. I've seen her poke me three times just to get one vial. In addition to my body's refusal to give up blood, due to the fact I've had so much blood work done in the last 6 months that there's a lot of scar tissue around my easiest to find vein. The rest are pretty hard to find.

So she's good at it but my body is the problem. Put it this way, she's put the needle in a couple of times where not only did she not get any blood, it didn't even bleed a drop when she pulled the needle out.

sucky for a while about a year I was getting blood work done 1-3 times a month. So I understand about the scarring they started on my left arm and then to my right arm..then to each of my hands...Let me tell you getting blood drawn from your hands is THE worst place I've ever gotten blood taken from. It also might be because I have really small hands but still it sucked sooooo bad. to top it off I have small veins in my arms as well the nurse usually finds them with her finger but then when it comes time to stick me she loses it takes it out finds it and does it all over again (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) what sucks is I have to go get blood work done here soon again and I am NOT happy bout it. I'm sorry your veins are that scarred though when that happens they really need to go to another vein cause that can't be healthy for the one they keep using.

I have a relative who needs to have her blood tested every two weeks because of a medication she takes. I'm don't know everything about it. But I feel sorry for her. I hate needles. And my experience getting blood work didn't help.

today I: worked, played, ate, etc.

Some asshole put a password on a rar file I downloaded today and I am running a brute force Password recovery. I think my desktop is going to melt down before I get the password through.

Also: brute force + dictionary attack + 6 year old computer = bad idea. Thank god my normal computer is well... newer, and not tied up with this atm.

non-edit: oh crap I have something on deadline that I forgot about.

What site did you download it from? Or if you followed a link to megaupload or megarotic, what site did you find the link on? Because a couple times I downloaded rars the password was the name of the site I found the link on. Instead of doing a password recovery just look around on the site or ask the upoader if you haven't already or if you tell me the name of the site I'll look.

Today, I went and visited my aunt before my chiropractor appointment (she lives a block away from his office), then after I had my back adjusted, I drove home in all that afternoon traffic. Thank goodness it isn't raining out. But I think we're gonna get some more rain tomorrow, which is OK.

I like the rain just as long as I'm not out driving in it on the freeway. Nobody here knows how to drive in rain, and a lot of accidents happen. The other day when it was sprinkling out I went outside and as soon as the rain touched my hair, I freaked out. "OMG! It RAINED on me!" lol!

I started the brute force recovery AFTER I exhausted my other options, of which some are included in your suggestion. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

It's been raining out here lately, off and on. I like the rain, except having to drive at night in it. All the headlights and streetlights reflecting off the water? Not fun for my eyes. I'd rather drive at night on unlit country roads in the rain, thanks.

Hrmm.. let's see. Browsed the net, played some more KOTOR, other than that, been mostly a lazy day. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Oh.

What exactly were you downloading? A doujin, movie, real porn? If your brute force recovery doesn't work then maybe I can help you find a different download of it. One without a password.

finally got it. 3 hours of searching netted me the password.

by the way, it sadden's me to find out the password was 21 characters long, and the program I have only allows up to 19 characters for an optimized brute force method. No matter...

I don't. When I was a kid we were lucky to get one snowfall a year. Now we're getting them every two days or so from November to early March, add a large shower of rain directly after the snowfall and it just sucks the fat one.
