Car accident. Car slipped off the road (my car, friend borrowed it for a night out) ended up on a small thin ice lake and went thru. Friend ditched the car, called the paramedics, called me.

I took a taxi there, looked at the damage, saw him off to the hospital and am currently keeping him company.

He'll totally make it with nothing but a scare... the car wasn't so fortunate and is probably still being towed out of the lake as i type this.

Praise jebus for insurance. Just a minor setback but still scared the shit out of me, so don't be too amazed when "I shat bricks today" pops up somewhere tomorrow.
