What did I do today? Oh God, where do I start? I guess I should rephrase the question to "What did I do this weekend?' I went up Canada in a bigol'e convoy of people to because my good buddy deadmetal was throwing a party that promised to be made of equal parts epic and Canada.
He did not disappoint.
We left our starting destination at around of Lynwood, WA 12:30 and pulled up in Richmond B.C. Canada at a little after 4:00....the drinking began promptly at 4:30. (IMG:[

Car #2 of our happy little group of some twenty people, decided to make a video log of the trip up and has such posted them for all in our group to see. I will share the vids with you all when I get a chance. There should be a lovely number of flicker sets being put up in the next few days or so that should contain the party in picture form.
So having never actually consumed alcohol before, this was something of a new experience for me and i am happy to say that its was rather pleasant and enjoyable (if a little emotional at times). I honestly wasn't sure exactly what to have so I went to our brew masters in deadmetal's kitchen and said "surprise me". I honestly have no idea what kind of dreadful concoctions they gave me, I only know that had five of them over the course of the night; the last two I didn't quite finish (by which I mean, I put the down on the counter and didn't come back to them).
I was honestly surprised that we were able to squeeze some many people into such a small space. If I remember correctly, we had ten people all sleeping in the living room, four in an adjacent bedroom, and three on the apartment's deck. All of this would have been much more bearable if it hadn't been 93 degrees that day and the collective body heat of twenty-something twenty-somethings tuning deadmetal's tiny apartment into a self-contained sauna of alcohol and Boom Blox. I myself tried to find a place to sleep but there was so little space when I was ready to crash that I said "fuck it!" and opted to stay up all night. I will say that watching the sunrise in Canada is an experience that everyone should have; its alot like watching the sun rise in the United States, but in
Canada.
Anyway, my driver gets totally hungover and I let him try and sleep it off until about 11:30 when I realise that if we didn't get a move on to the border, we were gonnna be fucked. So we scrambel to gather out things, some nurishment, and a quick round of Rock Band, and we were on out way. Traffic was light and we had gone ten miles over the speed limit the entire way there, it only took us about a half an hour to get to the border. That said, once we were there, it took just over three hours to actually cross it back into the United states. It took us over three hours to travel about 1.2 miles, we both nearly died of boredom. Granted, once we finally crossed the border at 4:42 PST, we cranked up Master of Puppets and did 80 going all the way home.
Taking tally of the events, I've been up nearly two days, had God know's what kind of alcohol, and spent an eternity waiting in line to re-enter a country that I should have been able to simply walk back into (go figure).
I'm incredibly tired, I desperately need a shower, and really, just want a little TLC from a cute looking girl. (IMG:[
