My hearing aid was ready so I went down to the place and got it fine-tuned and the girl showed me how to put it in and clean it and change the batteries, etc, etc. It's the small digital kind that fits inside the ear canal but even so, it's not as uncomfortable as I thought it was going to be wearing it. Yay! Now I can hear people clearly when they talk to me and I can also hear a bunch of stuff I wasn't able to hear before. (IMG:[

Uh, like now I can hear irritating background noise such as the air conditioner in my car and the freeway next to my house, and the ice machine at the fast food place my mom and I stopped at for lunch, and the steps in the house creaking and water running really loud in the sink and my pee hitting the water in the toilet. . .(IMG:[
