This morning, I slipped and fell on some gunk on the kitchen floor and landed on my knees and then hands. It hurt but it wasn't too bad.

Then when I was making dinner, I scraped my teeth together when I took a bite of celery. It hurt like a motherfucker but thankfully, I didn't chip my teeth.

I also talked to my friend on the phone which was probably the highlight of my day.

Straigtened out the kitchen to make better use of he new island counter I built yesterday, this has ben one of my better ideas as it works out beter than I had hoped. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Not much, went to the bookstore, then went with my friend to a class presentation her kid sister helped put together for her Adult-Ed Buisiness course, and one thing was very clear - kids are coming out of the Public School system compleatly unprepared for life let alone college. One poor guy could barely talk let alone carry his part.

The best part for me was when I commented to the instructor that their concept chart could be vastly simplified by replacing it with Hygle's Dialectical process and was greeted with a blank stare. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)


...so that's where some of the stimulus money went.

...and don't get me started on college instructors who may know their material but don't have a clue how to teach.
