Seeing some of the equipments in this makes me wanna cry, I'll never get anything good ;_;

The only problem is that is very time consuming.

Yeah, that's my issue. Since I can't complete Item World on a high difficulty, doing it feels like a waste of time.

After having tried Item World once on Hard, I think I can attempt Heroic since I just got Regen II, another item slot, and more two-handed proficiency . . . but the difficulty is still too low.

By the way, Kazuma raised my weapon on Nintendo. I would have to be able to handle at least that much to make each trip worthwhile.

I think mage is the best for IWing. Melee is just too slow, mace is much slower than estoc, single handed ......

Maging is terrible for IW
Even Sprites can one-shot you on the last rounds

mage is only fast when the difficulty levels are low. at higher difficulty, mages will have trouble just trying to stay alive.

melee is slower but they have no trouble tanking on higher difficulties.

so while a mage is IW-ing on normal, a heavy melee of the same level could already be doing it on heroic or even higher.

Is Item World tough (on higher difficulties) for even you two? I was planning on leveling my equipments myself after getting Spirit Shield.

Well, I'm doing it on Heroic difficulty right now (about 150-170 rounds depending on equipment). I don't even use spirit shield, just heartseeker, regen II, and haste (I also use Spark of Life in the last 20 rounds, it really sucks when you go 150 rounds just to have Eila hit you for 8000 piercing damage). I find that using an Estoc is best for clearing the rounds quickly (sometimes I use mace though). Anyways, it not so much difficult as it is a pain in the ass because it's so time consuming. Also uses up all your stamina, so E-Drinks are a must.

Why are you leveling items you don't use?

Seems like Juggernaut and Capacitor are the best things you can get on your armor equipment (unless you can get Butcher on Power and Shade armor). It would be awesome to have Juggernaut lv.5 on every piece of armor (over +10% HP on five different pieces).

My personal mage leveler does it on lower difficulties quickly and is under 200 (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

EDIT: I timed myself doing nightmare and the mage does 1.5x heroics in that timeframe

It depends. Mages are still faster for short IWs because they don't need to hit everything by chance (Domino Strikes).

Agility lv.3... hope I get some endurance and butcher on this one eventually. For the elemental strike I'm hoping for holy (for my FSM battles).

64% PMI + 4200 base atk + estoc = BT IW clear in just 45 minutes (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif).

Slow but sure.

Well my 1st potency. Did it twice on Nightmare and damn so long... from 99 stamina to 87. Got ASPD not bad.
