Did anyone bored enough to IW old eth weapon with soul dmg to level 10? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

I'm a bit confused, since Tenb said it will change dmg type from soul to void, presumably because of Hollowed Forge ... Does that mean you won't get elemental strike? ... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Max out a weapon at our level is really tiring. Not sure would anyone buy a level 10 ethereal weapon with 1M+.

Yeah it takes me a long time, but it's worth it (plus I can grind my TH prof.). I'm doing it at Nightmare right now, and I can get through 150 rounds pretty fast. My max is doing a Magnificent at Nintendo level (but I burn through a shitload of mana pots, and it takes a lot longer). I bet I could do better if I had a really good Ethereal Mace of Slaughter (like aurabolt), cause I use light armor and the stun would keep me safer than my estoc. You probably won't see too many level 10 ethereals for sale (maybe a few months down the line), but right now most of the high level ethereals that people have maxed out are their own personal weapons (which they prob. won't sell). Although the whole potency thing is still pretty new so that might change down the road. Maxing out weapons does increase their value quite a bit imo though (especially if they get holy/dark elemental strike).

Next level on my rapier, starting to look like butcher is the one that's gonna be maxed out (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) . Anyways, did item world with buktore's awesome mace that's in my sig, well, it definitely helped me take less damage. I'm sure I can crank the difficulty up a few notches while using this mace. Although it does take longer than an estoc. Gotta say overall, I still prefer estoc to mace. I know it's better to use heavy armor with an estoc, but I've tried both and my light armor set up works better (probably because my shade is waaay higher quality than my power/plate). I have 57% mitigation, 45.1% evade, and 57% resist with my shade set-up, the plate/power set-up has 67% mitigation and about 300 more damage. Basically, I end up taking more damage with heavy armor. Meh, I probably just need better heavy armor...

Colman, you may want to find a non-eth estoc with soul/holy/dark with more damage. at level 10 the only difference would be you need a Featherweight Shard

The reason is that I do not have a good soul/holy/dark estoc. Also, I do not have credit to buy them at the moment.
