No, it would be pointless, time-wasting, and ill-advised if it's still at random. You could wind up with something you were even more dissatisfied with. I, for one, will never reset an item.

2-3 IWBTH IW gets me level 5-6 and they don't take that long. If I get junk stats i'd reset the item, I'll reset most of my power armor and turtle gear unless elemental mitigation is needed in a later patch. that is why I've been leveling most of the stuff I use to 5 or 6.

Butcher lv.1 on my new rapier. 4 PABs on this one, so it's gonna be all butcher and swift strike (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) , the only mystery is which one will be lv.5 and which one will be lv.4 (and which elemental strike I'll get). I'd prefer to max out swift strike because attack damage can be raised in the forge. Also, if a level 300+ player reads this can you tell me how many turns you see for the proc (I see 3, but I'm hoping it will go to 4 eventually).

most of the time that is turn, but you can get lucky. If you can do IW's on IWBTH then it would only take 2-3 runs to get 5-6 levels. That would be worth the time but not if you have to do them on a much lower setting.

Also will be making my first forge upgrades for it soon to get the accuracy over 50% (as soon as I get the materials).

Fuck yeah (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) , the best part about leveling ethereal weapons is getting the elemental strike. It's extra damage every time you hit (like having a permanent infusion on your weapon). Holy/dark are by far the best elemental strikes to get imo. They're great for FSM (well, holy is), the schoolgirls, and supposedly a large part of the monster population is weak to holy/dark (same reason why fenrir and heimdall are so popular). But fuck man, if I had your awesome mace, I'd be in item world all the time trying to get it maxed.

I agree 100%, good things happen at MAX. Granted mine has been thoroughly forged, but there's the Dark Strike : Exquisite Mace of Slaughter

Max out a weapon at our level is really tiring. Not sure would anyone buy a level 10 ethereal weapon with 1M+.
