Yes it's true. That's why Ten had to add Swift Strike in the first place (cause if a weapon had all 4 PABs there was nothing to get after Butcher was maxed).

Heh, butcher lv.2 on my Exquisite Ethereal Club of Slaughter. Only 3 more levels until I get my random elemental strike. This is what I'd prefer to get from most to least:

Holy > Dark > Soul > Electric > Fire > Wind > Cold (I'd take Wind over Cold because Konata's weak to Wind)

Heh, butcher lv.2 on my Exquisite Ethereal Club of Slaughter. Only 3 more levels until I get my random elemental strike. This is what I'd prefer to get from most to least:
Holy > Dark > Soul > Electric > Fire > Wind > Cold (I'd take Wind over Cold because Konata's weak to Wind)

I do not think Konata is actually weak to wind, it wind mitigation is around -1 only. Btw, Konata is so weak that sometime die earlier than mobs.

My Magnificent Hallowed Estoc of Slaughter is coming along quite nicely. Butcher Level 3 4, and Swift Strike 1, hurrah. ^^
I can get Endurance too, but I hope the Potency Goddess smiles for me.

Guys I'm a little confused. I just leveled my Fine Ethereal Katana of Slaughter to lvl.1 and I saw in the log that it got the butcher upgrade, but when I hover over it it doesn't show any upgrades or such...

Is this a bug? Anyone experienced it before? Don't ask for hotlink to equipment... I don't know how to do it... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

It's supposed to be like that.

Upgrades and potencies are only listed when you "hotlink to equipment."

I had to go all the way back to normal after hitting 200 (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
Though I am a mage; I haven't a clue how melee fairs against Eila, Noihara, Sakura, Elizabeth, etc.
