Why? as a Level 20 player, unless you had bought some very pricey Level 300+ gear, this change is incredibly beneficial for you.

I have some trouble selling spare equipment and now that item levels are gone I have no idea which is a useless equipment and which is not (doesnt help that crude items get better stats than average ones)

Basically my trouble is identifying the good equips from the bad ones which is a pain right now.

always been a problem for me too , just keep the major stat list you want and forget the others.

so plate ,shield or power without end are no good for me and cloth without a good int/wis are sold without regret.

For now, I just go by the potency required to level the equipment. I also assume the weapons that come with four PABs will be more sought after as these have a higher chance of getting Butcher and that new Swift Attack. Void and Elemental Strike weapons are valuable as well.

Not much, no worse thing than underleveled power armor. This patch solved it.

It would give you nothing.

so, with this patch i went from having no idea how to price equipment to sell, to having no idea how to price my equipment to sell. lol

It seems an increase in difficulty is almost required due to the 80 kazillion points required

I can't wait to see the required experience required for the super duper high levels (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Take your current experience requirements x 1.042**N where N is the number of level increases you want to project.

@4.2% increase rate you double every 17.5 rounds or so (the famous rule of 70).

Unlike forge upgrades, potency unlocks will only add stats that the equipment piece does not already possess - sole exception being damage for weapons. However, these additional stats cannot be further upgraded in the forge.

Has anybody begun tracking the chances of a given quality of equipment under exquisite yields a material as well as the level of the material?

I have gotten mids from Fine and Superior as well as some low metals from salvaging crude gear. However, I also just had my first miss with some "superior" plate.

Sounds like i'll be taking my chances destroying those 20c items instead of just frowning as i thrown them at the Goodwill-Bazaar for making me waste time selling them

Stuff from a Crude must be a mistake, since below Fines aren't supposed to yield anything. Unless it was an Forged Crude and there's an exception to that rule there.
