I know that if it were resettable, I'd reset until I got the element I wanted and then only keep it if the rest of the bonuses weren't terrible.

I would settle for some happy medium though, so as to not have to reset too damned often.

Something else entirely.. The new salvage option requires a new tab: UNLOCKED EQUIPMENT

The only thing I dislike about this patch:

- Elemental resistances are completely useless. They serve even less of a purpose when they are random. Especially as a mage -- magical elemental attacks do little damage to us comparatively.
- It's further increasing the minmax aspect of the game, and binding people to specific pieces of equipment. This is going to do interesting things to WTS.

Is there a way to re-see the current xp of the gear after re-equip? I know it's a display glitch and the EXP/XYZ is cached somewhere and doesn't go away. However, it's sad to the eyes to see them all at 0, even after going thru most of IW thou not finishing it, it's still 0/XYZ.

Besides IW is there another way to get gear EXP? Does regular use help lvl it up?

The cache "error" was just in the beginning when the saved data was from the old leveled system. Now that everything should have cleared what you see is what you have. The reason you're still showing any experience per potency level is that you have to finish the whole IW to get the credit for it. Read back in the thread to see a few more people talking about it. If you're still not sure, test it yourself.

Forging your equipment will give them some exp, regular use does not.
