Yyyyyep, still a problem for me.
I almost always have both spirit shield and spark of life active. I also thought Eila was weakest against the Dark / Light combo rather than the elemental tour of Wind / Elec / Fire / Cold / repeat In other news, as a Lvl 217 character running through a Fine Phase Cap of Heimdall on normal (which was about Lvl 200 pre-patch and now shows 270XP to reach Lvl 1) was only 91 rounds. Moreover, Eila came up only about half a dozen times. Each round averaged 2 AoE spells to clear rather than the prior 3-4 due to misses and evades. Resist still needs to be dealt with. Sure I could, if I was expecting it. Using them puts a large drain on my mana for what is 99% of the time uneeded though, since there's only two monsters I ever seem to encounter that deal over 300 to 500 damage per hit or can survive a single spell. <I have to rant for a bit> 80% of Equip. Drops [ED] since patch is Crude/Fair in nature (*** luck). Most of that stuff is worth 20-22c to sell [without Hath Perks probably 16-18c]. That is *** BS; cost of 1 mouse click is higher, not to mention 2 clicks [select/accept] (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) . When I see Fair Kevlar equipment which is now worth 60c I seriously have enough. 3 patches ago, after few hours of playing (after work) I was able to raise ~10-15k c from selling equipment, after another patch that dropped to maybe 8k. And now if I pass 3-4k it will be glorious. To use poker term: I Fold. While I approve changes with regards to levels, huge nerf in price for lower quality equipment can't offset marginally higher profitability of GOOD equipment unless that Exq/Mag/Leg is worth like 50-100k to sell at the Bazaar without $$$ Hath Perks. Simply because out of 20 ED; 10 will be crude, 5 will be Fair, 3 Average, 1 Fine and maybe by some miracle 1 Superior. Exq/Mag/Leg are so bloody rare that you can find faster Uranium deposits on Sahara desert using just a shovel. [In all months/years?/ I spend with HV I've got 1 Mag and 2 Exq, enough said] Tenboro, if you want to stifle HV and scare players (especially newcomers) away then you are doing great job. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Patch is nice, but with even lower profitability I ask myself where this project is heading. There is something wrong when selling 2 pieces of equipment is not enough to buy 1 [One] Primary crystal. Quadruple drops or something, another drastic drop in value must be corrected somehow. Frustrated - On really bad run today...

@Tenboro, do monsters gain accuracy from stats like players
If so does that mean they can get over 100% with chaos upgrades and stats.
If this occurs is it an additional anti-evade for them?

Cuz I don't see how those are of any use when monsters do melee damage 99.99% of the time. Also please, please add a way to reset the latent potential progress to zero. I think that's a fair trade. If one reached lv 10 and got an unwanted bonus a way to reset it to zero would be fair since this would mean re-grinding it from scratch. And since the lv 10 bonus is random as well, this could possibly result in many such resets. I like the new IW, but I hate the idea of random bonuses where I only get one shot. This is dumb since we have unique equipment pieces - some of which are impossible to come by again.

Good question, that would explain why I was only able to evade Elia 1 in 8 times with 34.4% evade and shadow veil. On the other hand that may just be because it's Elia. Agree. Although really any high powered customs have become a chore. Normal for melee should not feel like IWBTH. Disagree from my standpoint. A quota based force-out is more palatable. I understand rewarding players for spending on their mobs, but I would the mob controller reward better for their dollar, not the players fighting experience worse.

Tenb, check the equipment screen. In the equip comparison screen it's still showing the 'old' item level.

It's fairly simple to do coding-wise, since none of the original stats are ever actually altered.

I just completed a 1st level in IW on an Exquisite Ethereal Mace, very nice. Thank you for the upgrades, and changes, Tenboro.
Edit: I also got 2 artifacts and 4 Scrolls of Protection for the trouble too. Kinda worth it. ^^

If the old levels ever show up anywhere, it's due to caching. It doesn't show up like that for me, but if you never changed your equipment set after the patch, it might.
