Using a mace since 2008. Tried dw (not worth it, to much keys and crappy heal, heal, heal). 30% stun makes it a quite decent game. First heal at 50% rounds arena on battletoads.
Armor went from Leather to Dragonhide to Kevlar to Shade to Shadowdancer Shade, now using Savage Arcanist.

1-handed with shield
High dexterity (lvl+10), strong agility(lvl+5), balanced endurance/strength/wisdom (lvl-15) and no brains to not attract zombies (intelligence=5)
Ethereal rapier of battlecaster + buckler of battlecaster (I wonder if those also can have ethereal version) + Cloth Armors

Using shield bash whenever possible to take out strongest foes, use protection and cure depending on circumstances, use defend to regain hp when only 1 damaged enemy is left (often end up killing it with a counter), and finally unleashing spirit on last rounds.
Also use low/average potions when in trouble.

I think I said pretty much everything.
