DW or 2H in Light.

Thinking about 1H.

Elemental Mage setup.

Trying melees as of late.

2H in Light.

Two handed, estoc

2H

DW Light to Lv316 then 1H Light to present.

Using elemental mage style but thinking about changing to DW.Using DW is easier at higher difficulty.

Set 1 : Elemental Focus (Staff of Focus + Frugal Clothes)
Set 2 : Arcane Assault (Staff of Destruction + Arcanist Armaments)
Set 3 : Ethereal Blades (Ethereal Katana + Power Armaments)
Set 4 : Dual Wield/Niten Ichiryu (Shortsword + Rapier + Heavy Armaments)
Set 5 : Holy Sword (Rapier + Force Shield + Shield Armaments)

Off topic, but I'd recommend against it until you reach twice your current level if you melee'd all the way to Ascended. Also, you'll really need a high Endurance to try a mage setup.

DW with Heavy so far, intend to switch to Niten with Light at a later date.

Switch between DW and 2H with Light depending on the battle. DW for higher difficulties, and 2H for clearing anything with 60+ levels on Hard or less.

1 Hand Weapon + Force Shield + Light Armor

Level 300

Set 1 :1H (Axe+Power Slaughter) Random Encounter
Set 2 :1H (Rapier+Power Slaughter) Arena ROB IW (PFUDOR)
Set 3 :2H (Longsword+Power Slaughter) Arena (NORMAL)
Set 4 : DW (Axe&Rapier+Shade Shadowdancer)
Set 5: Mage (Elemental)
Set 6: Mage (Divine)
Set 7: Mage (Forbidden)

I started off as a melee build, but once I got those multi-target elemental spells (before they changed how the spells work after I was set up nicely) I somehow made "Wizard who dodges a lot".


Not very far in the scope of things, only level 58, playing on Hard, but I can clear the arenas/Konata without too much trouble, usually.

I'm sure I'd be way more powerful if I actually had a "proper" build, though.

I've started with dual wielding then switched to mage.

1h+ shield and changed to DW halfway

I stab things and they die.

Mostly 2H Shade, switching to DW for RoB. Thinking about getting a good 1H setup (but waiting for HV 0.80 to be sure it stays OP)

One handed plus shield.
