Dual wielding in light armor, all the way (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

Used a tanky, dual-wielding build in the past, but I found that Mages clear mobs waaaay faster (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
They're not as great against single, powerful enemies (like bosses) though ._.

staff & spell

3-4 levels back I was using staff&spell for now i am experimenting with the styles...and haven't chosen any definite style.

Two handed with light armor. Might be fun to switch to a mage build.

Dual wielding, light armor, semi battle mage

Alternating between 1h, 2h, and DW for different purposes, currently mainly with heavy armor. Maybe have to try getting a good light armor set up, and trying out mage again is on my list for someday.

Step 1. Grab the weapon with the highest damage (usually a 2H for me)
Step 2. Deal the highest amount of damage
Step 3. ???
Step 4. PROFIT

As of level 343, Niten with Fleet Shade. Now I can clear Item Worlds on IWBTH and usually beat PFUDOR Random Encounters with 5-6 monsters without needing to heal myself once. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

1H + Power slaughter, can clear everything on PFUDOR except GF (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

2 handed or Dual wielding in light armor

1-100 1H + Shield
100-200 2H&DW + Shade
200-250 Mage
250~ 1H + Power slaughter

catching up with Dual wielding

Two handed, estoc

For the first 150 or so levels, I'd swap between battle-mage (1H+Light with occasional magery) and pure mage (Staff+Cloth). Since then, I've specialized more to DW+Light, and can clear everything but GF, Arenas over T&TT, and the occasional IW on Nintendo, and all random encounters on PFUDOR. I (almost) think that an Exq. Ethereal Wakizashi is broken.
