Recently restarted trying mage a bit, now that I have Banishment and Storms of Njord, in item world on normal to upgrade my melee rapier (I'm a casual inattentive poorly equipped player, I can't survive more than that).
At least this will upgrade proficiencies.

To be honest I don't really know what is good, right now I am flitting between two handed and dual wielding to build up proficiency so I can use Niten, combined with light armor, thematically it seems to fit and so far it hasn't been to bad.
