QUOTE(GAIODIAZ @ Jun 13 2013, 05:57) HV stat doesn't save any of my changes to the settings when using Incognito Mode in Chrome. Is that intended to be so or not?. If yes, can I somehow make it so I can save my settings or atleast change my default settings.
In incognito mode, cookies as well as local storage data will be deleted when you close the page. Because HV STAT uses local storage to save settings, you cannot save your settings in incognito mode. HV STAT currently cannot export/import settings. Therefore what you can do is to modify initial values of the settings in the script.

Ok, so how do I do that?

Find 'settings' object in 'hvStat.storage.initialValue', then modify the values of its properties. I think that you can guess what the property means by its name and value. This post has been edited by greentea039: Jun 14 2013, 16:35

QUOTE(greentea039 @ Jun 12 2013, 16:31) You have failed to install HV STAT. Your screen is not of version 5.6.2. Remove and re-install HV STAT.
tried that worked perfectly it seem the upgrade from 5.6.1 to 5.6.2 failed for some reason, thank you.

This 5.6.2 version is just great. I used to try the old version floating around in wiki and somewhere else. 5.5.5 and so called light version, I believe.
Light version was just too laggy and out of shape to do any good, and full version worked okay if I didn't mind the heavy lag between each turn.
This one doesn't have that lag and has almost every function.
If I were to be little bit more picky, I wish if there are more description on what setting options do. Not in game, but somewhere on the forum. I can only guess what they do. If nothing works, I guess I can check them on and see what happens.
I want to know what options should I uncheck to load battle page faster, though it is quite fast for what it does and is not a big deal.
Thanks for the script.

Because of my poor English, I couldn't grasp the nuance of your post very well. Be that as it may, someone probably will answer if you post a question. I think there is helpful information [ support.mozilla.org] here.

I hope this helps you understand: - he is happy that new HVSTAT is faster than old HVSTAT
- he is happy that new HVSTAT is faster than HVMA
- he wants details of each HVSTAT option (forum post or mouseover help text)
- he wants to know which options cause greatest slowdown of HV

I know of two places. The first is a folder called indexedDB in your profile directory. The second depends on which browser you are using and what version. In the latest firefox, some of HVSTAT's data is being stored in the webappstore.sqlite database under gro.esreviatneh scope. In older firefox, I believe it was localstore.rdf. I understood. Thank you for your commentary. I hope so. I may be able to answer to a concrete question about the each option. But I don't know what option needs further explanation. Probably English speaker's help is needed. The options which display something definitely cause slowdown. The ones related to the keyboard, tracking and warnings don't matter as much.

The following will create new elements in the DOM and cause slowdown. -Show equipped set number at left panel -Show proficiencies in sidebar -Show Round Counter -Show self effect durations -Show self effect stack levels -Show Powerup Box -Show scan buttons -Show skill buttons -Show numbers instead of letters next to monsters -Show monster effect durations -Show monster effect stack levels -Show monster statuses from database -Show monster HP -Show monster MP percentage -Show monster SP percentage You should turn off the options which you do not need. I'm planning a flexible structure just like Drops. I'll do it if I have time.

Latest version is 5.6.2. Check page 26 for the post on its release. Did you link the 5.4.6 version from the EH-Wiki? Might need to get one of the mods to update the link if you did. QUOTE(greentea039 @ Jun 9 2013, 22:50) HVSTAT v5.6.2DownloadsFor Chrome:

eh wiki is correct, i used the very first post from OP, i saw the 5.6.2 today
but yeah, greentea039 is correct, many options contribute to slowdown of HV browsing, the less ticked, the better
i'm getting 'database open error : undefined' for FireFox, chrome is fine though

Bug: If you finish a round, then quickcast a spell with Alt-#, then hit back, HVStat will reparse the page, but it won't have all the old battlestate, so if an item dropped it will save a duplicate that won't have a proper battleType or roundNumber, which breaks the item drops panel.

At least, I'll fix to avoid javascript errors when correct difficulty and battle type have not been gotten. I think it's not impossible but hard to resolve the issue of going back the page to previous round.
