QUOTE(mrttao @ Jul 29 2012, 05:53) Chrome 5.4.1 has the "Highlight Quickcast" alert not working. (not painting it blue / dark blue at low mana mana )
And now it works again. Weird. I disabled and re-enabled the hide logo function, then ate a mana pot and it painted it dark blue. (I intentionally drained my mana almost entirely to test)
I found out the cause. I'll fix it.

I have fixed issue #2, #3, #4, #7 and #8. [github.com] Issues Developers, please test latest "main.js". Especially I don't have confidence in the English expression. BTW, I don't have concrete ideas about issue #5 and #6. Please help. This post has been edited by greentea039: Jul 29 2012, 16:35

Been really busy with work lately, hopefully I can find time to help here next week. A few enhancement ideas I had: An option to have alert popup windows auto close after X seconds pass, saving you an unnecessary click while still giving you the alert. Also, currently display battle summary has options only for proficiency gains. making the other categories it gives have their own option would be useful. Bugs: There has been a persistent bug where trying to use a powerup gem from the powerup button after having clicked the item button but before selecting anything in that menu will result in you simply skipping a turn without using the item. (I don't quite remember who discovered this exact method of replicating said bug but thank you; it was somewhere in previous thread) I was thinking that a possible workaround would be to make it first select "attack". You can select attack from any menu, and when attack is selected the function should then have no issue going into item menu and using the powerup. Think it will work? Have a more elegant (and speedy) solution? I will try implementing the above when I get some free time but knowing how fast some of you code it would probably be all solved long before I get the chance to. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Seriously you guys are awesome.

Using Firefox and 5.4.1.2, after a while the stuff doesn't even show up half the time, and it clearly isn't remembering scans (even within the round) when it comes back.
EDIT: Saving monsters might fix this... (If so why not have a setting that just saves them all the time? (Okay, I think there is one, but maybe that's what's glitching out?))
EDIT#: The problem comes back constantly when I scan. >_>
EDITIDE: Save Backup and Check Existing Backups appear to do nothing; I haven't tried the other four backup buttons.

What version of Firefox and what version of HV Stat are you using. Probably worth mentioning, make sure Save scan results is ticked. EDIT2: Okay, fixed the issue with the buttons. That'll be in the next release. This post has been edited by GaryMcNabb: Jul 30 2012, 06:08

I can only really test the stable releases, but I JUST downloaded Canary Version 22.0.1220.0 and it ran just fine.

Firefox 14.0.1 with HV Stat 5.4.1.2. Sometimes it works fine for long periods of time, and then it freaks out like I mentioned. I think manually saving monsters might fix it at least sometimes. Regarding backup buttons, I know there were responses in the past, but nothing's happening now. This post has been edited by oohay: Jul 30 2012, 06:33

Intermittent bugs are the hardest to fix but I'll add it to the bug list and hopefully it'll be worked out eventually. If you figure out anything that might help, let me know.

Yeah, I'm sure it is hard, as it's really unclear why it happens. I don't know how the autosaving of monster scans works, but the problem does seem to occur a lot more often after I've played for quite a while. I'm not sure if anything in Firefox or Greasemonkey could be doing anything (rather than it being a bug in HV Stat), either. Have you had or fixed any intermittent bugs like this before? My belated thanks for your concern and work on HV Stat (to all who deserve it).

It's being extremely glitchy again...maybe I should downgrade to 5.4.0 for a while.
EDIT: Tried 5.4.1; no good...trying 5.4.0 now... The "{0, 0+}|0|0]()" stuff is back, but I daren't upgrade lest it glitch me to hell again. Maybe that was the absolute first thing fixed, but I don't know.
EDIT#: It seems to be okay for now, outside of "{0, 0+}|0|0]()" representing a status of not scanned. I guess I'll mention it if 5.4.0 glitches out for me later. If it never does then my problem would have to have been introduced since then.

I'm using 5.4.1.4 and I'm experiencing the same problem as oohay described. The monster info just disappears sometimes. I think it happens only after scans but I'm not sure. The info comes back after a while, but it's pretty annoying. Sometimes only parts go away (leaving the scan button to the left of the monster for example), sometimes all of it. Even the options button at the top right disappears sometimes.
