Except that in D3 you can max it in under a day with minimum to no effort whereas in HV it'll take years and you need to splurge hundreds of millions just to get it to a decent level.

Not really. In fact, if you've even taken a glimpse at any of the high-end D3 streams you'd know that crafting is where the money's at. You make far more from it than farming A3 and A4 all day on Inferno.

It takes so many attempts to get something useful out of it it makes me cry tears of blood.
And by the way Act 2 farming is better then Act 3-4. Sure lower chance but you can kill so much faster.

Although players' HP were boosted, so were monsters'. Therefore the difficulty is key: if playing in lower difficulty players can survive longer, if in a higher difficulty......the battle will be more tough.

has the drop quality gone down in this update? i usually got at least fine equipment with the previous patches, but the last 8 drops were 1 average and 7 crude.

No, it got flattened out. You'll get more crudes and fair stuff but youll also get more magnificient and legendary stuff.

Ah... I was wondering that too. I have gotten a couple crude items, and I thought they were gone. Must have been flimsy that was removed.
Also, the Snowflake/blue balls thing didn't work for me. I was gone for 3 months and haven't gotten anything exciting yet... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
