idc if i cant one shot mobs if it means they cant one shot me. so what if it takes a little longer to clear arenas, at least we dont need SoL on normal now. thank Jeebus for that. the monsters were retard strong even on normal and Tenboro is doing what he can to make HV playable for all combat styles w/o breaking any one over another. its a hard balance to strike and Tenb cant draw in potential donators if HV turns them off and makes them go elsewhere.

the only problem i still have with HV is artifact and equip drops dont seem to get any better on BT/IWBTH. they actually seem to get worse except for the restorative drops. i dont get anything less than superior restoratives most of the time on BT/IWBTH but 99.9% of my equip drops are either
A - just crude to average bottom tier equipment
B - lacking in the important stats that would make it useful
C - missing most or all of their proper PAB's that would make it useful
D - all of the above

if Tenboro would fix those problems for higher difficulties HV would be perfect. hell, i would even be ok with equip drop rates being cut in half in exchange for the drops being better when we do get them.

The game already gives you HUGE loot quality bonuses on IWBTH actually, but because stat rolls are separate there is still a lot of luck involved. PSPreak, that is probably completely intentional. HV is a game that requires a lot of grinding and making decent equips more common would significantly hurt that aspect of the game. Don't get me wrong, I would totally want all equipment to be at least USABLE, but if you look at old patches it's been the same deal since the beginning of HV....

and just how much is this HUGE bonus exactly? theres nothing concrete in the wiki on IWBTH bonuses (the numbers that are there are outdated too) it would be most helpful if Tenboro would give us solid numbers on what the bonuses are. it would be especially helpful to me for deciding what i am comfortable with putting into lotd to improve my odds of getting better stuff. i dont need more scavenger lvls bc i am well sassified with the amount of drops i get, just not the quality.

Have you been paying attention? For the past few days, every single crystal type has been in stock at the bazaar most of the time.

So they have. Huh. I guess I was riding on the wave of "well this sucks" from the initial change.

The problem is how quality is determined not the quality itself. I get a lot of Exquishits on IWBTH all the time, but shit is the key word there. Magnificent shit (cotton which i bazared) is still shit. The Loot Quality Bonuses are fine, it's just that because every stat is rolled separately you are going to get some bad rolls almost certainly.

i dont even get many exquishits or magnifishits on IWBTH. whats your lotd at? mine is currently 10/25 and yeah, exquisite/magnificent cotton is like puttin lipstick on a pig.

Love the shopbot and the profit sharing. Scored a Crystalized Phazon and took a gamble on selling it to the bazaar to see what I would get out of it. 5,500 for selling it to the shop, then it was immediately sold to a bidder and I got a profit share of 17,402 on top of the original 5500c!

And yes, I know they don't all have int and wis. But its fairly rare for superior sticks to not have both PAB now.
