QUOTE(Bunker Buster @ Jun 30 2012, 16:03) Just a few more of these and we'll have a moogle Social Security program. The moogles are getting so filthy rich of the bot, they're only really running MoogleMail as a hobby nowadays. They've been getting so rich in fact that they've decided to share the bot profits 50:50 with people who sell the items to the item shop. Though there is no UI indication for this, since whether or not something can be sold by the bot can't be calculated client-side, and since that value would be volatile with changing bids and other people selling. You can however see it in the credit log after the fact.

I just sold off my Mid Grade Woods for a disproportionate amount of credits compared to indicated. This is the best patch ever!

Now people have less incentive to trade on the forums Also, since missing PABs now have an affect on quality, how does this work with things like Leather which can have up to 6 PABs but can only be created with 4? Is 4 used in the calculations? Or does the quality of these kinds of items get shafted or can they now spawn with all six? This post has been edited by skillchip: Jun 30 2012, 17:26

Equipment will still need to be moved, though. Not that there'd be a whole lot of that these days since good equipment is so much more rare now, but still... It seems that the presence of PABs at all seems to raise the quality of the item instead of reduce it. This post has been edited by Bunker Buster: Jun 30 2012, 17:29

The doubled HP (effectively) is a most welcome change. Thank you Tenboro for both increasing my survivability and reducing my incoherent rage while playing this game. *brofist* (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

QUOTE(Tenboro @ Jun 29 2012, 06:25) 0.6.9
Battle
- Monster crit damage multiplier and agitation damage multiplier were both reduced from 1.5 to 1.2
- The temporary monster-exclusive health buff has now been removed entirely.
- Base character health scaling is now +10 per level (up from +5) and +5 per endurance (up from +4). This affects both monsters and players.
- Channeled spells now bypass evade and resist rolls.
- The Absorb buff is now permanent until triggered.
With these new updates my monsters are getting less kills. Which means less materials. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

could the forge allow for the deconstruction of weapons into component parts
say just one part or to weighted toward the low end with rare drops higher end stuff
a sliding scale (if you will) where a sacrificed crude something get one low grade something always
but sacrificing something of fine or superior might toss out a binding or Kevlar piece or 2
i couldn't imagine what you might get of of an exquisite or legendary deconstructed weapon(shudder)
*looks hopeful*
ah thanks Insania
that explains why i haven't received a gift yet got only the one monster

Bot Profit Share is sweet. In a matter of minutes and with a few clicks, I made enough credits to train more Adept Learner. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

QUOTE(varst @ Jun 30 2012, 07:07) 1. People complained about bots, and that's the solution. How many people have been camping so they can buy something from bazaar and re-sell them? That's the fair way: people paying the highest price should get what they want. Also, you can still get what you want as long as nobody's bidding.
You're in denial: the item shop isn't a fair solution, nor it claims to be so. Quite the opposite. And the part about getting "what you want" doesn't really mix with "as long as nobody's bidding". One hint: "popular items". They're popular because, you know, lotsa people want them. Allow me to rephrase: "You can still get whatever the others don't want" i.e. the leftovers. 99 times out of 100, that's not what you want at all. QUOTE(varst @ Jun 30 2012, 07:07) 2. Well...if people bid a price they can't pay, there's no damage done. You can still bid and get what you want. If they can pay 75k for a crystal, then that's their problem. And why should there be a way to prevent lack of funds? To prevent people from spawning 30 bots when they've got enough credits to fund 1-2 at most. This way you force people to focus on what they really want, instead of rain-bidding on every single item avaiable in the droplist. QUOTE(varst @ Jun 30 2012, 07:07) One real issue I would like to say though: The bot should stat clearly whether the maximum price is 'total price' or 'per item' price. Right now people may misunderstand that.
This is a non-issue, really.

With the 50% auction sale price patched just a few hours ago you're going to see a lot more "leftovers" that's for sure.
And now the rare stuff you stockpile is finally worth something and you can make your own bids for stuff.
Not sure how you're losing out here, now.

You people are so mean. But I guess they'll stop doing that soon enough. I highly doubt that. Some people have the capability to learn. Others just don't. Well, now with bot profit sharing they'll be able to actually pay that price (the 2nd highest bid rule seems to be gone now) and lose half of the credits into the ether, with the other half going to the lucky winner.

1. Well you've said the main point: if lots of people want an item and even willing to pay more than the minimum price, why shouldn't the bazaar (and the sellers now) take this opportunity? Moogles are not charity (though they're now charitable enough to give some of the profits back). And economists will tell you that 'bidding' is more efficient in resource allocation than 'first come first serve'. So it's the fair solution; either you pay more, or you buy less. 2. What's the problem of 30 bots then? If you place your own bid, that will never be a problem for you. If they don't have fund, you can still get what you want. Or you mean you can't see the correct bid? Then maybe Tenb should add 'the last successful bid'. 3. Yes that's a issue. You can't expect everyone to read the forum. (In fact, I'm not sure how many of them are reading the forum...)

A few times I got nothing on IWBTH hourlies, but those are very rare. I need to raise my Scavenger level to get item drops to appear more often.
