I actually die more easily on Normal than on IWBTH, because the damage is so high that old, less cautious strategies have stopped working.

(Not that I dislike it, myself. >_>)

Absorb, if you don't use it maybe you should

1. Absorb dont work, as Claw is physical
2. SS and Spark dont work, as I had said earlier, I used up Spirit Points in previous rounds with Lisi and I already ran out of Spirit pots many rounds ago
3. Did I mentioned I had Weaken on her? That non-critical 4000 damage Claw was the weaken version


60% physical mitigation is like thin air to Lisi, maybe I should have offer more Karma to Snowflake and play Russian Roulette with Shadowdancer set instead?

I don't understand people complaining about getting constantly ganked when playing on IWBTH.

It's the hardest mode in the game, it's supposed to be a pain in the ass. Would you rather have a perpetual easy mode? I imagine that would become really boring really quickly, and having any kind of strat would be unnecessary. If you want easy mode, play on easy mode.

While I get annoyed when people like Ichy whore all the crystals for sale with spastic amounts of hath, I would like to point out that anyone in the catgirl camarilla has had to donate 1000 bucks USD to the site for the perks and the privileges that come with the title. As for anyone who isn't in the CGC and has managed to make an insane monster, I think that's awesome. It takes alot of time to collect the crystals required to get monsters up to psycho levels, as I'm trying to do it myself. I'll be happy when I get Vaevictus up to 500, and that's ages away

It's a game you play for free, as long as Tenboro can be fucked running it, enjoy it. You want to have a game on your own terms? go make one.

I'm playing a mage and I don't have any problems on normal at all.

On IWBTH I'm getting hit for a fair chunk of damage, but not much more then before.

I don't get 1 shotted, as I have 4 auto cast slots up. I use haste, spark, shadow veil and spirit shield to mitigate most damage, for the rest I use protection, scrolls and infusions. Fully buffed with all that, I take fuck all damage.

Yeah my spells get resisted more, but it's nothing major.

I'm not rich, I accumulated that hath over a long period of time, almost exclusively through adopting servers and the odd donation. It adds up, you just need patience. I would run h@h, but my internet sucks. So that's the next best thing.

I'm not in the Gold Star Club, I have only two IA, I don't have any Hath income except artifacts and sometimes from equipment selling. But I play T&T on Battletoads without any problems. Yes, it became a little harder, but nothing more. So...

"Ask the Experts" still exists, you know. When somebody wants to do something - he's looking for a way to do it, when somebody doesn't want to do something - he's looking for a reason for it.

I'm a melee, so I can give you only melee-based strategy guidelines: if you can't comprehend with monsters resist - switch to melee and use mace.

You're (almost) the only one in this thread with words that makes sense. That's the only reason why I'm replying in this thread, which really serves no purpose other than another complaint thread. The complaint thread is at least better, as people are trying to give suggestions for improvement.

And don't say it's difficult.
There's a time when every hit from FSM is devastating even on nomral.
There's a time when high PL monsters won't give more EXP.
There's a time when second wind's gone.
There's a time when I lose most of the damage output because of the elemental rating change.
There's a time when I lose part of my evade because of the prof. change.
There's a time when monsters get ridiculously high HP.
