Well, I'm the a-hole who's making a monster resistant to darn near every element that ALREADY started out with decent physical attack resistance. Not "pound on them until your sword becomes a mace/dirk" Giant resistant but dragons are decent at least. I'm working on the speed, attack, and evasion, heh.

For melee mode, it wouldn't be nearly so bad if maces and clubs worked better... Or peoplemages had tons of agility+endurance stats like *ahem* some do. I really feel for the nonmages who get double-fucked on supportive and healing spells. You can have 70+ mitigation and still get raped by 2-3 hits/round because you ran out of mana, and you're not even a damn mage so why are you using 1000 spell casts/arena? OK kind of half joking, it's probably because of my low armor proficiency that it seems to happen every time I try melee - yeah I'm 'doing it wrong', most likely!

I won't mention some more ideas (even some that are obvious) I had on countermeasures for mages to these monsters as the monster trainers will adjust to my strategies and tactics. Also, it'll make it harder to do them if everyone else is and Tenboro makes a 'little' adjustment. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

If you're short on Hath, just use H@H. 3 Hath a day, plus tons of GP/credits=plenty of money
Or you can just hit the arenas on Normal difficulty every day with those *stupid* horse mazes every 10 levels like I got unlucky and saw just now. On the 100-round arenas, you'll get way more credits from the rounds than from the finish bonus. Play on at least Hard difficulty if you want more crystals to pump up your monsters with. Or you can trade in 10K+ crystals for some keen gear from the likes of Esheep and Piotr(peter in English?) and Hito.

Oh, and not upgrading Double Gift = WTF, LOL, OMG?! That doesn't even make sense, since you can use the items you get to help pay for more crystals. I sure wish I hadn't spent all my chaos tokens getting all those unused monster slots, BTW. D'oh!

I've had my fucking head knocked off 4 times so far today on Battletoads from 12k crits from this thing.
Good to have something that can effectively 3 shot me from round 1. It makes lisolette and himari look like kitten chow. XD

I need to formulate a new strat to mitigate the insane damage from this critter.

As for this whole naming thing, if frith/thetornprince doesn't wanna abide by the rules for naming it, fuck him, ban him, and give the monster to someone else. How is this even an issue?

I defeated the nameless one using Weaken, Imperil, and Silence. I should've use X-Nerf on those 10+ custom PL mobs, but the spell is too slow and I get hit too much from casting it. At least it dropped something when I thought it was a bug/glitch. 4EverLost was right, it wasn't that tough until it was grouped with Lisi and the others.

Does this blank Eila have any element mitigation at 75%? Cuz now it probably has max warding, evasion, dissipation and fortitude as well.
So what I wanna know is how effective edb sets are against a maxed element.

Well, the pretty obvious solution is to limit there to being no more than 1-2 monsters greater than 3-6x your level in PL. The exact numbers I'm not sure of but it makes no sense to be level 250 and have 4 monsters with a total PL of 4000. It wouldn't be fair to the people who put their resources into those 1000+PL monsters to never get any play time. A happy medium can probably be met if Tenboro's willing to tweak it so that there's never more than one monster that can 3-hit you before you even get x-nerf or slow cast. Yeah, the fact that slow and nerf often miss is equally a bitch to spirit shield+spark of life+cloak of the fallen being useless. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Maybe. I'd rather offer solutions than whining.
