Well, I've basically given up playing except for hourlies thanks to this patch.

Trying to do any arena longer than about 10 or 20 floors on anything harder than normal is now excruciatingly tedious and requires more than 3x the previous number of potions it used to take.

I'm just not willing to play for an hour in order to achieve half of what I used to do without much problem in 30 minutes previously.

Is it just me or people are actually buying stuff from the Bazaar more often? Since the price cuts on the Bazaar, people are buying crystals and some good equipment more often.

Apart from the fact monsters now kill me in 1 round while I cast a single spell and that the random encounters now more often require the use of Spark, the changes seem relatively nice to me. Thank .. for Life Spark. Oh and the monster lab update.. delicious!

Well the increased difficulty would in theory decrease the number of rounds at X difficulty one could complete. Less completed rounds, less round clear credit bonuses, less money circulating.
Definitely have fingers crossed, but the effects will probably take time to reveal themselves.

Monster lab updates are delicious?

Wait until you've meet some of the 1000+ PL monsters and come back to the discussion.

Anyway, I don't like the changes to equipment drops. Now, you'll just get even more junk that sells for peanuts. Exquisite cotton level 230 selling for 230 credits is bullshit.

What will the junks at lower levels sell for? 0?

Now, every single aspect in HV went from bearable to fucking annoying.
  • Monsters are now utterly overpowered, even more so than players? Check.
  • Credit income going to the shitter? Check.
  • Artifacts drop rates going to the shitter? Check.
  • Even more junk that has almost no value but are just there to piss you off? Check.

I don't see why people are happy with this patch. 2x the drop rates for equipments? Yay, but now they're worth 1/2 as much as before. You're back to square one. But no, in fact it is worse!

Now equipments don't guarantee PABs, so junks get even more useless and sells for even less!

In addition to that, since equipments drop 2x as often now, everything else drops less! Actually valuable things like artifacts are now non-existent!

Gawd. Now artifacts and e-drinks will get even more expensive.

Wow, this update blows chunks! Half the selling price for equipment I get and training costs remain the same. And equipment drop is not increased at all. If anything, I've gotten less equipment drops the last 24 hours.

Actually, the addition of evade and resist + tons of hp for monsters seem to have hurt mage more than melee. Now its all but impossible to kill everything with just 1-2 spells. Needing extra spells to kill things = more turns per round, plus the spirit and magic attacks means mages will use much more mana and spirit, and kill things much slower.

The HentaiVerse sure broke with this "patch". I thought the point of patches was to improve things, but I guess Tenboro didn't get that memo...
