To be perfectly honest with you guys I still feel that my 2H melee fighter (a.k.a. "Guts") do reasonable well at the daily Arena runs even after the disastrous Shatter Strike nerf. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

because the nerfing 2h shatter doesn't turn something good into bad but rather something awesome into good only.

The Scythe dream was gone when I noticed a random so lala not upgraded Estoc can beat a fully upgraded Scythe in killing power.

Though I do notice lowered shortsword and longsword odds for legendary trophies, so I guess it works as intended for everything but staffs.

Could Channelled deprcating spell don't be dispelled by Curse Weaver ?
Why i got feeling, that monsters in Random Encounter are 10 times more aggresive ? On one unlucky day i was beaten 8 time through whole day on Encounters. Yikes.

In theory, Channelled raises your spell to 100% success rate, then factor in Cure Weaver, which could drop it between 100% and 0% depending on your deprecating prof, number of debuff on monster, and that monster's level.

The reason monsters are "more aggressive" is because of damage stat boost that the players also receiving (Str, Dex, Int, and Wis). In long run, it pretty much the same except that we could now one-shot monsters as opposed to pre-patch which we couldnt
