After all that buffs in this patch, I'm not surprised if we get nerfed again in the next patch (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) And judging from some of the questions from new lv.200+ players, I must say the standard of 'HV nerd' needs to be raised again (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I don't get it... Why are people saying that bleeding damage decreased when it increased for me? Maybe I'm not playing enough Hverse or I'm not in a high enough level but putting on Heart Seeker and Spirit Channeling greatly increases the bleed damage that I couldn't achieve before the patch.

I haven't seen any problems with this Curse Weaving business yet. I decided to jump into the first arena with an Owl suit and a Focus staff and I loaded the monster up with Deprecating spells. Not one failed. Then I spammed Weaken until I ran out of MP. All I saw on the battle log was "You cast Weaken. Blah has gained the effect Weakened."

Your profs? With my profs at 90% my level, my bleed damage got cut in half.

The way I see it, the higher your proficiency, the less of a problem curse weaving is.

This update is so incredibly frustrating. Random monsters do critical strikes that kill me instantly on Normal. And my Bleeding Wound damage is a lot less than before. I think random monsters shouldn't have critical strike capabilities. It's cheap, frustrating and you don't know whether the hit will be 200 or 2,000. Maybe critical strikes should be capped at 3x the normal damage of a monster's attack, not 10x (or whatever the modifying is). I think I broke my mouse slamming it on the desk in frustration.

Physical crits deal 1.5x damage and magic does 2.0x damage. And only boss level or higher monsters use magic. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Profs no longer play any part in the damage formula for Bleed AFAIK. That would likely be why you saw a decrease.

I had only bought the White Aura perk last week and along with the Black Aura perk I thought I was doing good. These new character stats are freakshow levels. +237 for Strength? With a +10 permanent increase on the side? +150 Endurance? Most of my equipment attributes now average like 20+ points and some at over 50+ points on the attributes scale. A year ago all these euipment pieces dropping with 20+ points for power/Agility or Staminda would probably be valued at 200,000 a piece. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Prof for my 2h was roughly 225 so that's nearly 97%. Maybe I'm not seeing the effect since I'm using a slaughter weapon with 24% effective damage. Don't know what weapons you guys are using so I can't say for sure.
