There's no point in spending time and energy upgrading a monster if it's barely going to spawn.
Or the gift chances could be tweaked. Variety is good, so not having the same monsters spawn is good. What's bad is needing so many kills to get a good shot at a gift when you're also fighting for spawn slots. So the best compromise would be to tweak the gift chance so you can get around as many gifts as before without needing to spawn as frequently.

Bleed does need something more. Either a small damage buff or a secondary effect like a speed/evade reduction. Bleed damage is pathetic right now.
@TenbBTW, since you compacted the spell pane this patch, why didn't you do the same for the item pane? Having to scroll is such a bother. /lazy
