I am absolutely certain I had points in Bewilder, as I had Bewilder in one of my quickbar slots prior to this patch.

I have totaled my ability points to be 190, [i.imgur.com] which you can see here.

After resetting for 865 credits, I now have 174 spare ability points and 16 points already allocated, which still totals out to 190, [i.imgur.com] which you can see here.

...Yeah, I know I had points in soul attacks, I thought the 10% soul resistance would be nice before I realized how rarely I get attacked by soul techniques and how pathetic my magic attacks are when INT is my dump stat.

There's no way you had points in Bewilder if you don't have points in Imperil after the patch. The id of the ability didn't change.

Each time I used Shatter Strike, I had this melody in my head: "Shatter Strike! Ai de sora ga ochitekuru~" (Hokuto no Ken). That skill was damn strong, for sure.

Well, if it is indeed impossible, then I won't push the issue further. I was more interested in reporting a bug than trying to get the ability points back, and
I am sorry for raising this false alarm.

I guess the main reason I got confused is because two of the slots on my quickbar went missing after this patch, one of them I know for sure was Weaken and the other slot was previously Bewilder before I must have changed it to something else (Silence maybe?) after an ability point reset.

The amount of OC you use to activate the skill is set, that's true. But if you activate the skill when you've got 90% OC you deal more damage than if you activate it when you've got 70% OC.

Yeah. It's pretty much the reason why you level OC tank.

The cooldowns are there so you can't spam superhits.

True enough. I think some variety is good though, and high PL monsters still spawn more often and are more likely to get wins/kills. And this way, people don't have to be an OVERKILL™ to get monster spawns past lvl 200.
Yeah I still see the highest PL monsters regularly, just not every other round anymore.



Well, my guess is that if the players that start playing HV are a constant flow, the ideal PL for a "noob-killer" monster is 99, just before the spawning change.But hey, that's just my idea.

After playing with it for a bit, this patch is certainly great. A bit too much of a 'fan-service' for my liking and felt a little unpolished, but it did fix some of the issue and brokenness without (badly) breaking other stuff. Nice job! (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

A few thing of this patch that IMO need your attention in future patch:

- Bleed mechanic need to be change or greatly buff. The scythe epidemic in the last patch was due to its effectiveness when combined with the easily abuse Shatter Strike, not the virtues of bleed mechanic itself
- Infusion should be more or less compatible with skill in some way or other

I'm not asking for much, just has it doing something is enough. At the moment, infusion doesn't seem to do anything at all when using skill and only seem to work (in a rather confusing way) with normal attack. This might be fine if the the effect duration is not so short...
