Hey...


1 3 Great Cleave hits Trumble for 1777 crushing damage.
1 2 You gain the effect Chain 1.
1 1 You use Great Cleave.

Same battle, same monster but stunned:

20 3 Great Cleave hits Trumble for 5629 crushing damage.
20 2 You gain the effect Chain 1.
20 1 You use Great Cleave.

That's quite a bit more than 25% more damage...does Stun do something like reducing mitigation or such?

OC boosts Great Cleave damage, and it has the highest OC coefficient (with Penetrate I get 90-120k on enemies without Spirit Stance with 280 OC, compared to the 8-10k i get with 50.)

You may have simply attacked that monster with a higher OC.

Can we please go back to the old spawning system?
There's no point in spending time and energy upgrading a monster if it's barely going to spawn.

OverCharge, i.e. the spirit bar you charge with each successful melee hit.

Noob question. When I use cleave and get chain effect 1, where can I find the next part of the chain? I don't see any other moves show up in my skills.

Or if it's TLDR for you, you need to raise your Weapon proficiency. Raise it by just hitting monsters. When it reaches 50 and 100 respectively you unlock the other two attacks.

Won't happen. Too easy to farm wins.

Like when I'm trying to collect data I have to flee ~200 rounds to get the right monsters to show up

Was there supposed to be an ability point refund on Bewilder? I spent 5 points on that ability and I haven't gotten any of them back after this patch.

To be honest, I'm amazed monsters get wins at all. I die once in a blue moon, when somebody crits me for max damage on low difficulties and I don''t have SS up. On high difficulties, I die even less thanks to SS and SoL.

True enough. I think some variety is good though, and high PL monsters still spawn more often and are more likely to get wins/kills. And this way, people don't have to be an OVERKILL™ to get monster spawns past lvl 200.

Yeah I still see the highest PL monsters regularly, just not every other round anymore.

Interesting, are you sure you had points in bewilder?

I suggest you do an ability reset, make sure to count your points both before and after the reset so you can report if you are missing any.

Couple days of fun and I must say that I like changes very much.

Only problem are Random Encounters. Sometimes (hmm... often?) I'm obliterated before I can even blink. 15 instant crit hits and GTFO! (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) But I can live with that, it is only one encounter every hour. At least Item World is now viable option even at level ~100. Nice distraction from constant Grind Fest.
