The change to Nerf is the one thing I don't like about this patch. I just can't see why I'd want to stack it with Weaken when I can cast Weaken and Silence instead. X-Nerf is still useful because it targets everything, but I prefer the previous effects of the Nerf spells.

Is there any way to grab the spell ids of spells that I haven't learned? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

Imperil: ID → 2012, image → m_imperil
Blind: ID → 2031
MagNet: ID → 2032
Weaken: ID → 2011

I don't have Poison/Sleep/Confuse/Silence/Lifestream so I can't vouch for them.

Well I just went through "To Kill a God" using only four greater mana potions, due to having to cast half as many offensive spells and almost never having to heal. This is a great improvement over when I ran through it a couple days back.

Well this really rocks for you 100+ guys, but I am only level 57 and now I am just getting freaking shat on. All my hard work is out the window now and I have no idea what to do.

I can't even survive through arenas now. I'll have protect and shadow veil on casting cure every other turn and I still get smacked down every time. Someone will crit for 600-800 while every other monster hits for 150+ and I get killed! There is NOTHING I can do about it. I can't even play now. Every hourly I am in, I get killed, I can't complete an arena battle, I can't even go through grindfest. It is ridiculous! What am I supposed to do? I use light armor I just dropped a bunch of money on a really great scythe (great to me at least- it's superior balanced lvl168) and all I do is get killed.

Someone please throw me a bone here. Do I invest in heavy armor now? Should I change my weapon?

Here's one: weaken in your (only) friend. Just have it 5x and put on every monster before you do anything (except haste). Of course, the more monsters, the more cumbersome it gets, but that simply means avoiding too long grindfest, and sticking to arenas and hourlies - but on higher difficulty than what you were playing without weaken. Higher difficulty = less weakens you have to cast per exp gained.

By the time you hit crowded rounds you should have spark of life (100+)
