QUOTE(Sesshomaru Moon @ Nov 9 2017, 02:32) *

If you have some spare time, try and make a theme similar to that blue and white one. Or an Ambience theme that isn't glaring. So many people would appreciate it. Not everyone likes dark themed forum skins although yours were really nice. I start panicking and can't breathe when I use a dark forum skin, it's like being in smog and I also get lost reading all the shit in everyone's signatures thinking it's part of their post. It's my Aspies.
That sounds heavenly, where's the link for it?

Here you go, the template:

Attached File  Ambience_Clear_template.css ( 20.39k ) Number of downloads: 44

I know that stylish evolved overnight, but you can just paste it as is, it'll work just fine. Feel free to mod it to your liking. The only lines you should care for are 12 to 45 (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Also: f*ck this new stylish, where did my preview function go? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

Yay, I'll try that out.

I know, they totally did something to Stylish. There was a message that it's not compatible in FF anymore and there's some other beta version. I haven't even experimented with it yet because I have a headache.

knows when sparky appears to save you from dead? °˖✧ ╰(*´︶`*)╯ ✧˖°

in fox of fire browser there is always a clickable warning box the first time if you are monsterbating (//ω//)

seconds time no warning box happen (╥ω╥)
even if close tab and re open hentaiverse to continue fight (((ง’ω’)و三 ง’ω’)ڡ≡ ☆⌒ミ((x_x) getting sparky again gets no box! so I into supposings is the script
any way to prevent this (o・ω・o) so warning box prevents me from being jumpy and clicking to attack monster again and resulting in me ded?

or isn't the scrip at all? searched threading and only found about emergency colors not the box, so ask

it's not part of monsterbation, and i would consider it excessive handholding. maybe another script you're using brings up the box, such as HVSTAT?

i'd like to remember you that no matter what, but spark will *inevitably* bring you under a certain HP threshold. so, if you have configured those on monsterbation (or left to default, which is still good enough) the script will *inevitably* stop and turn the background, uh... red? so pay attention to that.

btw, yesterday i was doing some IWs and was sparked four times. it was almost impossible to miss them.

Yo sicken.

Small suggestion: could we get an option to stop the script from proceeding to the next round when we drop an equip above the equip threshold? It's quite sad to know that we dropped one Leg in the end of an arena/IW/GF, without knowing when it happened nor what monster dropped it.

this is already in the current version. set stopOnEquipDrop = true and equipmentTrackCutoff = 2 or whichever value suits you

I messed around with Boubie's new clear script yesterday and created a blue, white and light gray test version, similar to that other forum style I liked. What's wonderful is the new colors aren't glowing like the regular Ambience. There are some areas that have minor issues but it's tolerable. I might ask about them later. Thanks so much for taking the time to write that script, BouBou.

So I'm making progress which is the good news, the bad news is the new Stylish Beta for Firefox is interfering with other things on my browser. And like Boubs said, there's no preview function.

Hmm, that's very interesting. Looks scary and it might be something I would fuck up. Thanks for posting it, Sicken, I might get up the nerve to try it one day.

Did you notice at the bottom of the page on the link that the before and after screenshots were of a blue/white/light gray forum? That's a really popular style. For me it's very soothing.

A question to anyone who uses SmartSearch and has updated to Firefox 57+: does the script still work? I have someone who's running into issues and it might have something to do with the update. I haven't updated to FF 57+ myself because I don't want all the stuff I'm using to break. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

it's still working here with tampermonkey (greasemonkey is buggy)..
and if you want to try firefox 57 without breaking your stuff...
i think you can try the portable version with AllowMultipleInstances=true (FirefoxPortable.ini)

so basically extensions may have to wait a bit, but there's the chance script will continue to work once you switch to another script management extension, right?

tl;dr: script may break only because they preferred tampermonkey over greasmonkey, right?

The guy I'm talking to is using tampermonkey.

I think the problem is IndexedDB being difficult again. Unfortunately I know next to nothing about it or how to debug it other than the scrap I cobbled together to make it perform more like localStorage...

Which threads (or page) does it fail to save?

By the way: WM: In Firefox, check your
about:config
page, and make sure that
dom.indexedDB.enabled
is set to True

(probably not the issue, but best to check)

The problem he's running into is here:
CODE
function dbGet(callback){
  inProgress = true;
  var dbRequest = window.indexedDB.open("SmartSearchDb");

  ...

  dbRequest.onerror = function(event) {
    error('dbGet: Error getting db ' + dbRequest.error.name + ' --- ' + dbRequest.error.message);
  };
}
The error is a [object DOMError], and the string that comes up is "dbGet: Error getting db UnknownError --- The operation failed for reasons unrelated to the database itself and not covered by any other error code"

Extremely unhelpful, and I don't know enough about IndexedDb to figure out where to start, despite some googling. Does anyone have any ideas? There have been a couple people here and there who've run into this sort of thing.

A reference I saw:
[github.com] https://github.com/FooSoft/yomichan/issues/76
QUOTE
so it appears then that you must be getting the error on the initial database open (before Yomichan even does anything interesting with it). I've seen a similar issue in Firefox 53. Some relevant threads about people running into the same problem:

dfahlander/Dexie.js#298 (this is the exact problem, hints at multiple instances accessing the database).
[bugzilla.mozilla.org] https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1217257 (do you have other installs of Firefox?)
[bugzilla.mozilla.org] https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1310616
[greasyfork.org] https://greasyfork.org/en/forum/discussion/...state-of-denial

It just seems like the underlying support for IndexedDb is pretty spotty. If you could try wiping your profile and/or reinstalling FF I would be very interested in seeing if the problem goes away.

my bad...i forget to save all the pages when i install firefox 57.....
WTS: 82 threads saved in this forum if this is the correct amount of the threads in WTS... then i think its working properly...sorry for the confusion..

I admit I haven't been browsing this thread for some time, as I've gotten used to my current Monsterbation setup and haven't needed an upgrade. So maybe this issue has been fixed in later releases or maybe I'm doing something wrong here, but...

How do you bind scrolls to keys? I've been trying this:

CODE
Bind(KEY_T, Use(s1));

But it actually STOPS monsterbation from working altogether (using ver. 1.2.0.3).

pls halp

if it contains letters, you need to use quotes, like so:
CODE
Bind(KEY_T, Use('s1'));
