yeah he never got his green feather iirc. everyone is trying to gouge the remaining buyers
handing in what he has (if it's like last year's event) will still net him *some* rewards
edit: but to be fair, anyone who hasn't completed a set by now just didn't try hard enough. i could have had 3 complete sets easily if i wasn't being a damn charity this event

QUOTE 10 hours ago: Snowflake will be shipping off all the collected ponyfeathers tomorrow, so make sure to hand in your set before then. Does that mean if I do not give them to snowflake today, they will disappear? That is terrible. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

Not if last year was any indication.

Assuming the prize is a super duper trophy again, what's everyone gonna go for? (weapon type, armor type)

I think I'm gonna go for 2H, 'cause a chance to get an ethereal is still better than magnificent kevlar or something.

I remember someone said that going for 2H gives you least chance of crap, since mostly the possibilities are acceptable (estocs, maces, katanas and scythes are all popular, and longswords are not that disastrous). This post has been edited by LangTuTaiHoa: Apr 14 2012, 12:31

Nah, longswords are mostly unpopular (maybe except ethereals), estocs currently are not selling very good too. But at least you can sell crappy 2H to Bazaar for a bigger price than other types of equipment.

I would also pick 2H if I have to. Compared to other choices, 2H still has the greatest chance to get something good. (Mace, scythe, katana)

I've been going for 2handers as well when shrining trophies. Wood is useless right now unless you have a thing for Redwood.

Yeah 2H consistently has the best average price when selling to Bazaar. I'm gonna sit on my god tier trophies until I get to ~lvl 250 though.
As for longswords being crap, 4EverLost seems to be doing just fine with his.

As for longswords being crap, 4EverLost seems to be doing just fine with his. Well I have some decent longswords myself, but it doesn't change the fact they're an overall average weapon. Scythes are definitely better this way. This post has been edited by Evil Scorpio: Apr 14 2012, 19:50

Tenboro must have slept in because there's no ponies today, there's no new trophy in my inventory yet.
