This Pony replacement for Mazes sucks.

On some images, you can barely see what's underneath the other shapes and the opaque shade.

Secondly, answered correctly, had over 50 seconds left, and I

WTF?

Tenboro, you owe me 1 stamina. And now would be fine for replacement.

That's the only "incorrect" message, it doesn't indicate that you ran out of time in this case. You answered incorrectly.

The Riddlemaster has come up with another way to test your mettle, and will now in addition to mazes use the new Picture-Oriented Ne'er-do-well Identification and Elimination System - or PONIES™ - to tell bots apart from normal players.

Unlike the previous system, PONIES™ relies on identifying certain combinations of vector shapes in images, which is easy for a human to do but comparatively much harder for a computer.

While the system will link you to it when necessary, before facing the new and improved Mares'n'Mazes Riddlemaster, it is recommended that everyone gets familiarized with the PONIES™ Reference Chart.

What have we done to you?

Enchantments

The Forge has expanded, and now also offers enchantments. These are time-limited bonuses you can apply to weapons and armor in order to make them more powerful.

- Featherweight Charm (all equipment) eliminates the burden and interference of the equipment piece.

You can have multiple enchantments at once, and if you for some reason want a longer-lasting one, you can also apply the same enchantment multiple times to extend the time.

Shards can be found as normal drops, but Voidseeker and Aether shards only drop at Hard and above. They can also be awarded from the Monster Lab.

Now to clarify because I'm dumb, the amount of time only applies to when it's been forged into the item, yes? It's not going to disappear from my inventory in a few hours?

yep, i dont like absorbtion being gone. playing at lower difficulties has never been this hard.

you should be fine if you play at battletoads/IWBTG tho.

So far, 7 rainbow-colored feathers have only been dropped in the Arenas/GF/CF/IW, are we expecting any other unique feathers? Will any of these feathers drop in the random encounters?

Yes, the shards won't disappear unless you use them.

Ok. Didn't know that.

However, there was no way I confused the character; so either I somehow without even knowing hit two keys at the same time, or it somehow misread the input. Or simply the timer screwed up (I've seen it jump several times in the rare moments where I have had it run down halfway).

Still doesn't solve the picture clarity. It's as bad as some of the worst letter/numerical-based CAPTCHAs I've seen elsewhere on the net. At least the Mazes, though eye-straining, you can see.

Edit: Leon's comic above, that image there is definitely easier to see than what has come up on my HV. Either it is randomized and I'm getting all the crappy images or it's some kind of browser issue.
