The digital download checks if the servers are online before proceding to install. The time has nothing to do with not being able to install the game.

QUOTE(Kaosumx @ Apr 5 2012, 22:28) although I was under the impression that bots could also do the mazes. I've seen a surprisingly wide variety of auto-playing scripts, but none that actually included a maze solver. At most, they've had some sort of function to give an audible alert when a puzzle was encountered. Which isn't saying that they don't exist, and I've heard somewhat credible rumors that they do, but nothing substantial.

Ok, I thought it was because bots could solve mazes which was why PONIES™ was added.

And because I wanted something that might seem like an April Fool's joke. And because it's fun to make haters rage.

QUOTE(Tenboro @ Apr 5 2012, 20:10) Seriously, you don't have to both PM me and ask here. It updates automatically, if not instantly. There's an automated script for that display name change stuff ?

They probably exist, the only problem is that some of those advance ai bots would have to be written in java or c++, that leaves you with a choice of browsers M.O.s to choose from.
IE - you can basically code a C# addon/plugin with AI backends for automation directly with your choice of machine learning for maze learning. firefox - I have seen some high level monkey scripts with an plugin backend to control things other browsers - external java app with hooks into whatever browser
I haven't seen anything better than a firefox plugin play connect 4 with someone.

machine learning for a maze?? just DFS, much easier. And making a browser indepent bot in a language of your choice is much easier than that, but maybe i shouldn't be giving out to many clever ideas here. I actually considered making a maze solver, just as an excerice. Shouldn't be to hard. I wouldn't actually use it or share it, just a challenge. The ponies though, that's a though one. I say nice work tenboro, decent captcha. I think i could maybe crack it, but it would be a [i]lot[i] of hard work. I'm not even going to try. I think this one is safe.

There's one of them for those yearly events, why not create a script that does the same and pisses off a few people once in a while because they wrote something they shouldn't have ?

QUOTE(Tenboro @ Apr 5 2012, 12:46) Technically, it starts at 80 seconds and decreases with your level (and experience solving them).
Wait, so there's a diminishing timer now? High-level people who have a high Riddlemaster success rate have shorter timers? That's kinda neat and annoying. The last couple of puzzles I've done are 50 seconds now. Phew, that's a lot less pressure.

QUOTE(jy-laji @ Apr 6 2012, 00:57) oh my fsm http://hentaiverse.org/riddlemaster.php?ui...cc4c2ff371df4d2this is too hard to be recognized in time. i have to guess... and glad that my guess is correct (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) it takes a long time to open GIMP.... or should i buy a new monitor? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/faint.gif) It might indeed be your monitor, i had no trouble with that one. But, if i rotate my screen even a bit, it becomes almost impossible. Maybe you could try that. Although some laptop screens perform really poor on yellow/gray, at any angle.

QUOTE(derpymal @ Apr 6 2012, 01:08) And because it's fun to make haters rage. Right ?! I have yet to encounter one of those mazes. Probably because my own monsters don't want to riot when I ask them for loot and this is disappointing.
