Instead of complaining about the ponies, think of some alternatives that could be used. I was thinking "shapes" (Circles, squares, triangles, etc.), but somehow I don't think that would work very well.

It could be something like "Count the number of [x]s in this image", it could be basic arithmetic (adding, subtracting), it could be a lot of things.

Something I think would be more interesting though is if you get a different buff depending on which "riddle" you complete. So the Maze one and the Ponymon one would give different buffs. Or something like that.

If anything, the hate should be directed towards the botters and cheaters that necessitated increasingly "complex" anti-cheating measures.

At last, a smart post about mazes.

If I use an enchantment on an item and then get stuck in an arena for more than 4 hours (aka Schoolgirl Arenas), will the enchantment run out mid-Arena or will it expire immediately upon dying/fleeing/finishing?

And I don't see anyone giving some valid points against pony puzzles. Those 'I hate ponies!' doesn't count. If you NEED to focus on the screen to distinguish among different ponies, that should count as a success against bots.

A lot of the dislike for the new method isn't that they hate MLP, it's that they now have to study something that they have no interest in just to play something they like. You also have to open a different window and switch between windows to compare the two.

The mazes were easy AND quick. It takes more time to do the new riddle. Though they probably weren't doing their job if Tenboro had to come up with a new method.

Hmm...The recovery button seems to be back. I haven't the least idea why I couldn't see it previously though.

Shade gear is amazingly expensive, but I don't want to reset to 0 proficiency for my armor by switching to heavy...

On another note, I have finally encountered the pony riddlemaster question. It is horrendous. All those grey ovals interfere with the pony image. I couldn't see the unique symbol of the pony at all, and basically made a guess based on trying to match whatever outline of the pony against the chart. Is the image even the same as the one on the chart?

Sometimes the images are different from the ones on the chart. You'll have to look for identifying features.

Twilight Sparkle: Striped hair that's flat-cropped
Pinkie Pie: Curly hair
Applejack: Hat
Fluttershy: Straight normal hair, gentle facial expression
Rarity: Straight normal hair, her diamond cutie mark is usually visible, also her facial expression makes you want to punch her
