I just pictured a Spaniard freaking out wondering what the hell Crepúsculo Brillo, Arco Iris Guión, Rareza and Meñique Pastel mean.

@trikon000 First you write this: QUOTE(trikon000 @ Apr 2 2012, 00:45) 4. it is recommended that everyone gets familiarized with the PONIES™ Reference Chart. Now, I assume it's the same image linked in the Riddlemaster page though I never bothered to check. Then, a few posts later you write this: QUOTE(trikon000 @ Apr 2 2012, 01:19) So how do I pass a picture into a machine translator to non-egrish again?
So, which is it? Is it already solved for you or is it not? You can't have it both ways. You get a chart with all the respective names on it if you've never seen the characters. You don't have to translate a thing. All you have to do is associate the names in the picture to the answers from A to D of the riddle. Who cares what they're called in whatever language? All you need is some basic reading skills and object recognition ability. If someone lacks one or the other, this riddle is the least of his problems. Seriously, I don't see any problem with either kind of riddle: as long as the image is "viewable" anyone can solve either in a matter of seconds. QUOTE(Radkat @ Apr 2 2012, 01:36) You know, to a non-English speaker, they would not even realise they are supposed to name the ponies. They see some english words, quickly enter them into their online translator with the clock ticking, and the translator doesn't even watch MLP! Even if they did see the link up there, they wouldn't know what it's for, as most links lead to ads.
Now, those who don't know a single word of English probably won't even play in the first place. But many of them would have a few years of basic English classes in school, and likely know the basics of RPG's, just enough to get by. The pony puzzle however, is something entirely different.
Tenbrony's got you good.

So why do you assume that those 2 post are mutually related to my situation. Why? because english isn't my first or second language?

QUOTE(oumi11 @ Apr 1 2012, 18:12) This.
Shut up. QUOTE(flint @ Apr 1 2012, 18:32) God ur ghey.
QUOTE(flint @ Apr 1 2012, 19:08) This is the first punctuation I have ever spotted in any of your posts. Uh, no? Except if they are very impatient/having cataract. I mean, I don't watch MLP. At all. Still I get all of the riddles right because the link is right up there, a few inches away from the image.
Fuck people.
Really.
Ed: oh, and I'm German. Kind of in context.
Flint-chan is ubermensch.

I'm not assuming anything related to you specific situation. I couldn't care less if you're English, Dutch, Italian or Russian. I'm sorting out which side of the two you posted you are actually advocating, since they're mutually exclusive.

It's Fluttershy. Fluttershy's the only one with eyes shaped like that.

I choose Rainbow Dash... In the picture given, he's the only one who has wings. And I failed. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

LOL too transparent to tell. I hope I don't get that one and pick what you did, so I can eliminate at least one of them.

I much prefer the new minigame to the maze. I don't have to squint or in some cases turn down the color setting on my graphics adapter to finish the questionnaire.

I bet you didn't choose to be academically challenged either, otherwise you probably would of known you could easily Google search the main six and learn who is who for future references.
