That requires extra work.
This is 100% automatic, except for Dawn but I'm working on that.

Added a reset link, click it when ever Dawn happens. Might add some more advanced Dawn stuff latter; like counting down to Dawn.

Removed dependence on url. Should work as long as you don't make a move before switching bowers.

Erm, I'm probably going to feel silly for asking except that asking dumb questions is how people learn, but how do I get grease monkey to accept it as a new script? I'm pretty new to it in general and my PC doesn't know what to open the file with if I'm missing something important, and I don't know what to do with the code if I open it in a notepad <.<

Thank you, this script is great!

Question, would it be possible to add a training time notifier to this script? So it lets you know when your training is done so you can start another session?

Anyone else find that the timer sometimes goes into the negative instead of displaying Ready?

It sucks when my random encounter takes longer than an hour to pop. It's also annoying when my Health or Magicka don't fully replenish by the next one.

Some improvements that can be made to this already awesome script:

1. Adjust timer when you get "Dawn of a new day"
2. Look at system clock and if dawn of a new day arrives before the next fight, adjust timer accordingly. (aka, if I fight a random encounter 10 minutes before DOAND then set the countdown to 10 minutes not 60 minutes)
3. Watch relevant site addresses (the gallery) for random encounters and popup a notification when one is encountered on a page other then the news (aka, encountered accidentally while browsing the site) to avoid accidentally missing a battle.
4. locally store the target time of next battle, on window focus [en.wikipedia.org] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Focus_(computing) look it up and adjust timer accordingly (in case the computer was in sleep mode this can make the timer remain accurate)

I will see if I can find the time to implement some or all of these myself. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Updated with changes for users and developers.

User changes:
- If the Dawn is earlier than an hour away, the timer will be set to time remaining until dawn.
- The timer will now load with the page rather than after, this removes the flicker.
- Changed the visual style of the reset button.
- On first install, timer is set immediately rather than displaying "NaN:NaN".

Developer changes:
- Grouped variables and functions at the top of the script (they're hoisted anyway, this just makes it easier to visualize order of execution).
- Renamed variables to both adhere to standard naming conventions and to be more descriptive.
- Added an exclude for the equipment screen which removes the need for the old fix.

Looks really nice will have to wait until next dawn to see if working as advertised but the flickering is gone and that is a relief.
Thank you GaryMcNabb!
A small note: when you install it in the add-on:s tab in Chrome it says that it will gain access to all the webpages you visit. This message makes me nervous so I add the code below to my copy of the script. I don't believe it has any other effect but then again I'm not a expert.

Thanks for catching that, updated it to us @match rather than @include.
The Dawn feature works, unfortunately you have to click the reset button after triggering dawn since the script only runs on hentaiverse pages and cross-site scripting isn't safe or allowed.
Short of a full extension with a background page system (which is overkill for a little script like this), I don't see any immediate solutions to this problem.

Dawn idea:
Wouldn't it work if to assume that the first time after 00:00 UTC you click ready or reset you have gotten the dawn event and reset the timer?
In case of reset it changes nothing but if you click ready and get the dawn event it has reset the timer as it should and if you don't get dawn event and get a battle instead it will reset the timer again. The only problem is if you have gotten the dawn event and not used ready or reset and click ready again within the hour but then you don't know when your next hourly are so it makes sense to reset the timer.
I think this idea makes sense but it is up to you to decide. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

This version will reset the timer when you click ready.
It still won't be able to tell if dawn has been triggered or not but it's more functional than not doing anything lol.

Thanks for that!

I have discovered a slight glitch I believe. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)
If you start an hourly battle don't finish it and close the window, the timer will reset when you open a new hentaiverse window making you potentially miss an hourly.
Now I know it's stupid not to finish the hourly right away but sometimes you don't have the time.

I hope it is something that can be corrected if not thank you for all you work on this incredibly useful script. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
