That's a strange time frame. What's the main source of traffic? China?

Its good you found the cause of the problems, but a new server sounds expensive. Something else, I like how when things break or something new comes along there are always a lot of lurkers that find the forums (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Japan is a decently large source.

I really want to believe that this was only a cache-overload (If I understood it correctly) and not some DDoS-based memory overload, because in a few MMO "Online" games that I've been playing they're also having "server problems", and loads of game servers are being hit simultaneously;
TAKING into account (or so I believe) that the E-Hentai servers are "Public Servers" and not VPN-based, they may be being targeted as collaterals -.-'
These are my "unfounded beliefs" as I don't have evidence to back me up.
Again, sincere wishes of safe and "sane" success on this one folks ;'D
EDIT: THIS just passed through my mind as I was going to see my H@H Host: What will happen to the "Trust" value of the members by having so many crashes on the host?

Lol this is weird.
I just had a HV battle where I kept switching between two battles randomly. I think it mixed a hourly encounter I ignored into my arena battle.

I don't know if it's just me but..
I'm facing the problem that battles on HV will "looks like" end studdenly, that means I got my butt kicked out of battle whenever it will, but not alike 12/03/2012, I'll rejoin the battle at the last point which I get kicked before after some waiting and refresh the website.
Any ideas? Is it just me being like this?

I got booted out of a ten round arena during the last round just now.
Edit: Restarting browser and waiting for the guru to stop meditating fixed the problem and I was able to get back in where I left off.

It's a known issue after any memory caches crashed. QUOTE Q: I jumped to a new fight instead of going to the next turn! A: If the server cluster loses a node temporarily, which isn't unlikely until it's completely warmed up, this could happen. Just wait a few minutes and it should re-establish the connection to the node and load your battle again.

QUOTE((Cheater) Tiap @ Mar 13 2012, 22:35) What's the main source of traffic? China? E-Hentai is somewhere in the top 500 sites in Japan. QUOTE(4EverLost @ Mar 13 2012, 22:42) Its good you found the cause of the problems, but a new server sounds expensive. A couple of dual six-core E5s with 64 GB RAM and RAID SSD-based storage.. yeah, they cost about the same as a decent car. But then again, a single one of them has the same capacity as the entire cluster today, and they'll also replace some existing servers, so I don't expect the monthly total to be any higher really. QUOTE(Alterburner @ Mar 13 2012, 23:20) I really want to believe that this was only a cache-overload (If I understood it correctly) and not some DDoS-based memory overload, because in a few MMO "Online" games that I've been playing they're also having "server problems", and loads of game servers are being hit simultaneously; Naw, these aren't DDoS attacks, unless twenty thousand pervs trying to get their fix at the same time falls under the definition. Besides, the memory caches aren't public facing, you'd have to get on our VLAN to take a shot at them.

You may have to consider traffic from proxy sites, since most of those guys are behind 'the great wall'. I just loled at those 20,000 prevs (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) And I hope the new servers will solve the existing problems. Sometimes it's difficult to tell prevs like me to stop asking and have more patience.

Well, China is the 5th largest source of traffic, and that probably wouldn't be the case if there was significant blocking in place. The Chinese government apparently realized some time ago that people's desire for tawdry pornography is so great that they are much more likely to break out of the Great Firewall in pursuit of that than for other reasons.

'the great wall' did not block this site yet... at least my friend's country are.
