My random battles were working perfectly fine yesterday. When I logged on just now and went to the main site and clicked on the random battle link, it took me to my character page. I see other people are getting that, too.

I'm still getting stable random encounter battles. Someone can try Firefox 10 and see if it helps?

My battles are stable too, haven't been booted to the character screen once yet. and i'm using firefox 5.0. SO OUT OF DATE! (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif)

I have no idea what's going on with other's hourlies.

So far im liking the patch (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)
IWBTH and BT are now worth the extra time spent.

Now Tenb needs to fix Monster Scaling so leveling makes you stronger and do something about Crysfest and everything is fine.
Getting so few Crystals in IWBTH is cruel given how fucking strong Lisi and that Egg are in there.

/edit: and Item World which needs to be fixed. Maybe let the IW Training shorten the Rounds?

What was going on with hourlies was that when you hadn't been on HV for a while, it would bounce over to a login script to check that your session was still valid, but it didn't actually pass the encounter parameter. So when it got back to HV, it no longer had the thing that starts the encounter.

This might explain why it was fine for me, at least. I have my HV main page open all the time in it's own tab, along with quite a number of other various places.

It's working now, thanks for fixing it. I just got my random battle. OMG, all those monsters and that sick EXP. Total HerniaVerse.

I was idle for 30 seconds and I got kicked out of the arenas. o_o

The cluster has been particularly bitchy today. It's not even related to the patches, it just really doesn't like being restarted.

But if you get battle flapping, that is why. Very little I can do about it until I get the new servers, unfortunately.

Completed my first hourly for the day, which makes me 5-1 on the screen loading success. It was a 10 mob battle so the monsters took up the entire right side of the battle screen.



Im curious to know if more than 10 monsters can appear on the hourly because theyre is no scroll function on the popup. I hope the situation of 11 or 12 monsters showing up and you can't kill the other guys because they are listed off the panel and you can't scroll down doesn't happen.





Biggest problem/goof today: Grindfest is all over the place. I was up to round 30 and went to attack a monster and BOOM! I was immediately teleported back to "to begin Grindfest click start" so I did and was back to round 1.



Also, in this new session I was fighting a group of 5 monsters and was down to the last guy, and BOOM! Another fucking monster turns up in the mob and he had half energy? And while I was pounding on the other guy he kept blinking in and out of existance (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)





Whole lotta Guru Meditating going on between 3AM and 3PM eastern time right now.

The battle only starts if you click on the link now, you can use a heal token, use pots or do something else before jumping into battle.

You can also set your battle items to auto-restock.

As random encounters becomes more important in this patch is is possible to get one from a page completely SFW (safe for work). Would be nice to be able to get them at work/school without break policy rules against pornography. I know is is a strange thing to ask of a porn site for there not to be porn but you have made a too addicting game. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I haven't gotten a random encounter since the patch, until I went to the homepage/news page...then I finally got one...

Right now you can only get it from the "main" site and from a gallery page. You'll also get it on the front page of Galleries eventually.

I like that Dawns work on Chrome now.
Opening the site in FireFox just to get Dawn was a pain in the ass that really wan't worth it.

I always thought Random battles were pretty meaningless. Thanks for the great update!

Can you please remove the prerequisite abilities for the elemental resistances in the next update? We melee fighters would like to enjoy those resistances without having to waste points on spells we never cast.
