If the "monsterlist" is gone then how can we be sure that we won't create a monster similiar to one that already exists?

Random Encounters not behaving:

I'm aware of one condition under which this can happen, and I'm planning on patching it today. Probably.

For now, as long as you've visited HV recently when you get the message, it should work. Probably.

lol, the random encounter dropped me a crude cap, but did get lots of exp for it.

The link that comes up for the random battles has only actually given me a random battle once since the patch, so something still isn't right.

Possible workaround for Random Encounters not starting:

When the message appears, use View Source in your browser to find the battle's URL. Copy and paste it into a new tab. It should look something like this:

So far I've gone into a dozen encounters just fine, however the encounter dialog doesn't pop up in the main galleries page , only if I visit the the main site or an specific gallery.

Normally, I don't ever do the Dawn Event. Now, it looks like I will have to. =o
