Random encounter is random.
Worked 2 times, sent me to char page 3 times.

I was assuming Tenb fixed it, but after seeing this, I guess not. Go to settings and change the fonts to "HentaiVerse Font Engine (slow in some browsers)". I originally had mine set to custom, but after switching it, my battles started working again. Unless you already have it set to that, then I guess mine was a fluke. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Not related, I'm using font engine amd face same problem.

Until Tenboro fixes it, if you trip a random encounter, click the massage box, randoms aren't coming up when you change screens in an open HV window.

- The option to disable random encounters has been removed, as with the new system, it doesn't actually create an encounter unless you click the event.

Yeah, just came accross a random encounter and got catapulted to the character screen. WERE MISSING OUT ON THE FUN! (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

The listed changes might actually get me back into playing HV... I'll have to wait until all these bugs that people are talking about are fixed, though.

I encountered DOTD around 2 oclock but I didn't even look at the stupid thing very closely and it didn't occur to me till after the fact that somebody had rewritten the rules.



Onto the arena!

- Soul Magic is now placed under a new pseudo-proficiency "Spiritual", which cannot be boosted by itself, but is the average of your Forbidden and Divine proficiencies.

It is official, Soul Harvest no longer increase Forbidden proficiency, now back to the casting costly Pestilence

The random encounter link sends me directly to the character screen ;_;

Hot Damn! Experienced my first hourly encounter. When the "you encounter a monster message" flashed up on the homepage, I tried opening the message as if I were trying to open a new tab by clicking with the roller button on the mouse instead of the regular button 1, and I don't know if it had any effect but the loading worked this time.



Next time, ill just click on it regularly and see if it bounces me to the character page. Shouldn't really matter cause the battle is supposed to come up in a popup window. Fought 5 monsters and earned 60,000 exp points. That's what I like to see (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)


Another plus. With this new setup, we get to use all our battle items and support equipment when those stupid legendaries show up which in the old setup, were just a complete waste of an hourly battle cause even at legendary level status, they could kill you in 2 shots.

Okay, when the "you encountered a monster" message came up I just clicked the link with the standard button 1 instead of the scroll button and the monster battle commenced.


Definately something in the system that needs to be ironed out and not specifically a button command problem. I imagine a day or 2 and things will be running fine for everybody.

Yeah, sounds more like a regular system bug than anything.




I turned in the artifact I just won and got an Energy Drink from SnowFlake. SF has been going nuts with these things lately, now im up to 6.



Maybe im doing it wrong but when the SnowFlake message came up and she gave me the Energy Drink, I hit the spacebar and it did nothing.







Edit: Chainsaw Oil turned up at the bazaar so I bought it and gave it to SnowFlake and AGAIN she gave me an Energy Drink. THE SPACEBAAH IT DOES NOTHEENG!

Did you clear an Arena/RoB on a higher difficulty?

TO ALL GUYS CAN'T USE HOURLY ENCOUNTER: maybe you are using custom font or something? Because I've had normal hourly battles since the start of the patch yesterday and got no error. I click on the link with ordinary left button and a popup appears with battle, I then close it and manually open a new HV tab (I'm used to play it that way).

Yeah, happened on RoB When I finished some on heroic, and happened (randomly) when doing some arenas on IWTBH. Doesn't seem to be consistent though...
