The attack on Share is partly why we are eliminating NON-H manga in all languages. Although, I think it would be safe to use it for J-Porn images. They, like the Americans, seem to be focused on manga, music, and video.

I do think we never suggested to remove Velvet Kiss in the commercial non-h thread...

If we're removing hentai stories just because they're commercial, then maybe half of the galleries will be gone forever....

And what you suggested are in different scenarios IMO;
The first gallery is purged, and you know what purged means implicitly.
The second gallery is removed because there's a replacement; better to keep those licensed commercial hentai materials to a minimum, right?

Better to not remove them at all. If we go so far and delete h-stuff this hentai site will really be useless to me and many other people I guess (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) .

So do I (no plan to touch those purged), but that's the only explanation (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
And I couldn't find that in the commercial thread, meaning that they're directly wiped.

The anti p2p stuff like NetAgent still struggle quite a bit with Share and even show just how little information they actually collect, and how it's more warranted/relevant to the people that "first shared" files, with the news articles they used to release that summed up to:

"We helped the police arrest 4 people that distributed files downloaded by over 200,000+ users!"

pretty much.

It's a far cry from something like Torrents or the like that you're kidding yourself if you aren't using a lot of "measures" to download from safely.


Anyways, I don't think I ever used the site for asian porn or cosplay other then randomly sticking in a couple names of a few favorite gravure girls a long time ago to see if there was anything on the site for them to begin with.

I can remember reading through some doujin like non-h stuff or the occasional ecchi manga though in comparison.

Guess I won't be surprised if the categories "disappear" now though, lol.

Let's not be so harsh. This happened few days before the purge, some may have been operated under a mistaken impression. But some warnings are in order. Particularly because there was a thread in the vigi about this case, where I asked for clarification first, where the uploader ZiggyOtaku asked for the galleries to be deleted as they have been licensed. Alpha replied and the discussion got confusing, as he was talking about expunging rather than replacing, and there was some talk of banning the uploader (?). When I checked the links, the galleries where gone, and when I asked in the thread for clarification as to what have happened (some raws and en translations were purged, but many translations still remain), the whole thread got DELETED. Now, such censorship is something that is very annoying (I got no PM with explanation, nada), and so I'd hope Ten will take some action here to ensure this does not happen again.

Don't feel bad I sent Ten a PM asking about certain series and why they were getting purged and have yet to receive a reply so I think over all the whole arbitrary "purge" is nothing more than an attempt to try and get the sponsors and the whole DCMA emails off their collective asses.

And for the record I use the word ARBITRARY because 14 out of 15 of my galleries that I have uploaded to date have been purged but you want to know what the funny thing about that is? THEY ARE ALL BY THE SAME MANGAKA... go figure that one if you can.

I feel very bad about this decision: to my mind, removing Asian porn gallery is a complete error. I really enjoyed them and if you could simply put them in another website, and gives us the name of this new one, I would be overjoyed !

If you're going to nuke non-h & asian porn, western should be nuked too. There are a number of independent & small publishing releases in the western section and we all know Disney is more likely to sue anyone using their intellectual properties without a license. They're the MLB of animation. Even the doujin market knows better than to use Disney IPs. And let's be honest, rights holders of those western titles & Disney are far more of a threat than some defunct licensor like Tokyopop. Not that licensed titles should be found on ehentai either, mind you.

i just heard about the change about the asian porn section. that really sucks cause all of my galleries are under asian porn. well, i'll try my best to put new asian pictures in the cosplay section (it's a real shame cause i like hentai and asians). well, i better download all my favorite asian galleries and reupload them into different areas. the good thing is that the site is not banning asian porn but i rather keep the pictures where they belong. why can't we just leave the site the way it is? everybody including me was happy before all these things came up.
